Beyond the best I have used G. Fried over the decades for multiple homes. Whether it be for wall to wall, area rugs, stair runners or wood flooring, they have IT ALL! The above review could not be more wrong!!! I have to say, they aren't pushy salesmen like other stores, so they let you shop around until you are ready to purchase or ask questions. G. Fried is the best from start to finish. Their installers are top rate professionals.

Great job - truly professional! The installers arrived exactly on time to replace the runner on my stairs. They carefully protected our floors from their wet shoes. They answered any questions that I had with patience and accuracy. They removed the old carpeting quickly but carefully and took away all the debris. The installation of the new padding and carpeting was done meticulously. Everything was cleaned up and left exactly as they had found it. GREAT JOB!

HORRIBLE!!!! Chris from G. Fried called to set up installation of my carpeting. I was told the installers would arrive at approx. 11 A.M. At 1P.M I called Chris to see where the installers were. He told me they would arrive soon. At 3P.M. still no installers, so I called Chris for the third time and he said there on the way. LOL they finally arrived at 4:30P.M. and installed one small bedroom of carpet and the installer said they would return the next day some time in the late afternoon to do more work. I called Chris and told him I needed the men to come earlier do to the fact I had 2 more large rooms to be carpeted and stairs to be done which takes a lot of time. He assured me the installers would arrive at 10A.M. Surprise! At 12P.M.still no installers so I called my salesmen this time who was great with the sale(Roy) and he called me right back and assured me the installers would be there at 1P.M. and they did arrive at that time but did not seem to happy because they had to skip a job to come to do mine. Imagine if I did not call, they would have come by me in the late afternoon and not have finished the job. Not impressed at all with the way things went so BE CAREFUL using G. FRIED CARPET!!!!!

Great People, Great product This is a top shelf outfit with a family atmosphere. They offer competitive prices with outstanding customer service. Gary helped me make the best decision based on my available budget. Such a pleasant experience dealing with him. Ivan, their professional installer for over 25 years, did a fantastic job measuring and installing an intricate runner up and down two sets of stairs with a landing with many twists and turns. Came out beautifully. So happy I went to them.

Customer service? That is what G. Fried is all about. New carpeting was something I had been wanting for a long time. I walked into their Paramus store to window shop, and left with a contract to install new carpeting. I live in a one bedroom co-op so I didn't need to cover huge square footage. G. Fried had remnants of high quality carpet to meet my needs. The service was professional and they never made me feel as if I was just another customer. The installers were very competent and personable. I am very happy with results.
