The Mount Vernon Carpet installer The Mount Vernon Carpet installer, Michael, did a fantastic job with our basement floor. He was very careful to prep the floor and take the time to get ready for the vinyl install. Michael was thoughtful, considerate and conscientious about his time in our home and was a delight to work with. Michael was exceptionally meticulous and didn't want to leave anything undone or done poorly. Our contacts with Larry were also very favorable. He was very patient and thorough about the business part of this job and also advised us when needed about our best possible choices for the work we had done. Thank you to both of these men for making our basement "re-do" a very successful experience.

The floor room staff made us feel at ease & helped whenever we had questions. Dotty was a concise communicator with the insurance claim we were processing. The carpet installer was a one man team - truly impressive - and the caret looks fabulous!

Great Install, poor communication Our installer treated us like family. His care for our home during this process way above what we expected. The flooring installation looks amazing. Only issue we had was the extra cost that was added for new plywood underneath. We understand you cannot see what is there until the flooring was removed, but, what we paid extra versus what we were verbally quoted as 'worse case scenario' was a difference of over $2000. It is our fault for not requesting written bid for 'worse case scenario' instead of being quoted after we are already started on the job. I feel it is more beneficial to customers to have a more formal bid that includes cost of all known charges, especially if you already have the square footage of the area. At least an estimated addition to install charges. Besides that, we love the new flooring! I will strongly recommend Michael the installer to anyone I know.

Vinyl, Carpet, Tile, and Blinds We purchased Vinyl, Carpet, Tile, and Blinds: We had a great experience with Carpet One. The associates were very knowledgeable and helpful. The work was completed by experienced workers. However, keep in mind that in every project there is potential for mishaps beyond everyone's control. My suggestions are to review any NEW product prior to completing the quote as not every new product is the same size or use. Also, equipment should be checked out at the store before using on site. Other than that, everything turned out great in the end! Thanks for your help!!!

This store is amazing! This store is amazing!! Kristen was so helpful and just a joy to work with. The install guys were great and so efficient and did a beautiful job. This is the ONLY place to purchase carpet!!
