GBDont trust the online color swatches!! First and foremost I love that this paint was non toxic, I am expecting my first baby and wanted something safe. However. I am extremly disappointed in the color, the website suggests you get swatches I would recommend doing so before even considering buying this paint. With how pricey it is you would think the color swatches online would be a little more true to color, I got the darkest color "grey" that they had and my crib looks white. I wish I could attach photos. I could have just as easily gone with a different paint online and gotten a closer grey. Do not trust the color swatches you see online. Just take the time and order them to see what color they truly are.

GBVery difficult Lullaby Paint (white, semi gloss) was extremely difficult to paint with. It was gloppy, thick, and quite streaky. I would not buy it again.

GBDecent primer/paint for what we needed We ordered primer and paint (in a custom color) for our baby's crib. We were excited to find something baby and pregnancy safe, so we took the plunge and ordered. We did a custom color, and that turned out great - perfect match, as far as we can tell! Shipment arrived on time and in perfect condition. The paint was so-so as far as application. We typically use a pretty good quality Sherwin-Williams paint when we have projects, so that is the quality we're used to, and it certainly was not on par with that. Paint had to be applied very thin, or we got terrible marks in it. We did two coats, and overall I think it looks good. We got the semi gloss, and it's not glossy at all. In hindsight, I would have opted for a gloss finish for furniture instead.

CAOverall great product, but difficult application My husband and I wanted to paint one chalkboard wall in our baby's nursery, so I spent a lot of time researching no VOC paint options on the market and kept landing on rave reviews for Lullaby Paints. The website had a lot of great information and we also found the paint calculator easy to use and helpful in terms of how much to order for our project. Overall, we were very pleased with the product. As promised, the paint was odourless and had a very nice thick texture for a chalkboard paint. Cons - the application of the paint was very tricky. We needed to do 4 coats in the end and still have very visible roller marks on the wall, despite using a foam roller as suggested for the 'ideal' application of the product. Also, because we live in Canada the shipping costs were insane (about as expensive as the quart of paint itself). Last con to mention, after calling all of the Canadian vendors listed on the Lullaby Paints website we realized none of them actually carried the product (something I think the company has a responsibility to accurately reflect on their website).

GBPoor coverage The website says that after sanding, it should only take 2 coats of paint to cover furniture. I've sanded done 3 coats and still aren't happy with the coverage. It's ended up being much more work than anticipated.
