GBTerrible experience Terrible experience, Market analyst presented vehicles that were in markets half way across the world to entice me to lower the reserve price, sorry excuse for a “market analysis” team.

GBno buyers fee refund even if seller might be a scammer I bid on a Rolls Royce and won the auction. Then I flew across the country to view the car after winning because I didn't want to wire a large amount to a stranger without first viewing the car/paperwork. There were a lot of red flags so I decided to not finalize the deal. I still had to pay the $4500 buyers fee. Cars & Bids did not care that the deal did not go through. I guess that explains why they have an F with the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say, I will not be making my future car purchases with them.

GBSuspended for posting hidden info about vehicles. So I have been suspended for the site for commenting info that cars and bids is hiding. If they don’t know this information they should maybe fire the people managing the listings. But I’d put $1000 on the spot right now that a court order would show they had it from day one. They have many flagged posts that show hidden. That’s understandable and you can view the hidden post. But anything that is to help the bidders that is purposely hidden from the public is completely deleted. It’s like they don’t realize that cached pages on the internet exist even if the original pages are gone. Even eBay listings that still exists from the seller show cars and bids hiding relevant information. At one point I thought of his website as fair and based on some of the videos Doug has posted about different things I figured what he said on how things operate was true. But apparently it’s all just a huge show to make it look better.

GBMy advice, sell on you own. Don’t leave it to the “experts” when it comes to scheduling the auction. My advice would be not to have your auction run during a holiday weekend, and request an end time for the auction after 5 pm, when ordinary working people can actually participate. Be aware that they won’t allow you to contact an interested party that missed the closing moments of the auction, even if your reserve isn’t met.

GBCA DMV tops their customer service I started using the site as a buyer and made a few bids on csrs that interested me but unfortunately, I was not the winning bidder. As an anthusiast, I buy cars where ever I find them, enjoy them from a couple of months to max one year and sell them to get something else. I "applied" to sell a couple of my cars a month apart similar to what the C&B site sold a few weeks prior. In both cases, my cars were rejected with the same "boiler plate" response I assume everyone gets. I replied to get more information about the criteria given two other similar vehicles recently sold on their site and simply got no responses after that. When a business with such bad reviews completely 'ghosts' responses from potential sellers and does not assist buyers as the reviewers claim, it makes sense to be cautious about listing or buying. My guess is they are doing very well to not care about customer service.
