GBSuspended for posting hidden info about vehicles. So I have been suspended for the site for commenting info that cars and bids is hiding. If they don’t know this information they should maybe fire the people managing the listings. But I’d put $1000 on the spot right now that a court order would show they had it from day one. They have many flagged posts that show hidden. That’s understandable and you can view the hidden post. But anything that is to help the bidders that is purposely hidden from the public is completely deleted. It’s like they don’t realize that cached pages on the internet exist even if the original pages are gone. Even eBay listings that still exists from the seller show cars and bids hiding relevant information. At one point I thought of his website as fair and based on some of the videos Doug has posted about different things I figured what he said on how things operate was true. But apparently it’s all just a huge show to make it look better.

GBGreat experience, ignore the negative comments I really have no idea why there are so many negative reviews. It honestly made me nervous after I decided to list with Cars and Bids. The experience was top notch from top to bottom. I got more for my car than I thought I could (listed a car for sale only, did not buy). The communication and requirements were top notch. I could not ask for anything more, they were great and I highly recommend them IF YOU WANT TO DO THE WORK AND SELL YOUR CAR.

GBBad service Man, CarsandBids is such a bad service for selling your car. They demand hundreds of photos, are always complaining, and the reserve price often changes, usually for the worse. For example, CarMax offered $4k above the reserve price offered by CarsandBids. I would not recommend them

GBPushy sales tactics. Declined Application. Like many others posted before, if you do not accept their very low reserve offer, they will reject your application. They are essentially functioning as a dealer and will move your vehicle far below even a trade-in value. What ever gets them the 4.5% commission. They rejected my 2021 Tesla Model 3 after offering a reserver $10,000 below KBB. The issue is not with their analysis team. Their business model is just like many other action sites. It does not benefit the seller at all. It is meant to push hard for lowest possible reserver to ensure most sales. It would be too much work to re-click and re-post the same unsold car with a lower reserve. It can border line be compared with the unethical standards as home brokers. Marketing your service as special or unique is false advertising.

GBMy advice, sell on you own. Don’t leave it to the “experts” when it comes to scheduling the auction. My advice would be not to have your auction run during a holiday weekend, and request an end time for the auction after 5 pm, when ordinary working people can actually participate. Be aware that they won’t allow you to contact an interested party that missed the closing moments of the auction, even if your reserve isn’t met.
