Its junk - it might seem cheap and private and contractless - but its not Every time I try to connect to my two downlights via blue tooth something has changed in the app and nothing works. Its almost as if they deliberately what to make it the worst experience ever! Every time I go to use it it suddenly needs some new permission, for example it suddenly started needing to use location then it needed a wifi connection then it wanted the camera - its a coloured light FFS! This stuff is junk! All I wanted was to turn on some coloured lights and set the colour - but it is NEVER simple- I have to mess around with passwords and locations and blue tooth and reset this and reset that! ITS STUPID! dont waste your money.

Solid DIY solution for the most part Overall my experience with Abode has been positive. The hardware (except for the outdoor smart camera which has been pulled from the market) has been solid. The monitored service seems solid and when I have tested the fire/smoke alarms, I've received a call immediately. The system integrates well with Home Assistant. I use the motion and door/window sensors for triggering smart home events.

Very disappointing We ordered 2 outdoor cameras via their promo sale to go with our current Abode security system. Spent hours & days with 2 different techs & still not able to connect with our internet & the system. We sent it back after consulting with them & we were only reimbursed $55.32 for our $79.06 purchase. They said it was the shipping costs both ways but it was more than the shipping according to our calculation. This big promo “sale” ended up being a disappointing rip off!

Nothing has worked for me Nothing had worked for me. It’s all useless. The cameras never stay connected, the front door camera will not upgrade, online but black image. I have nothing set up to give alerts but paid for Pro plan? I see in an old email you were supposed to send me a sim to activate? Never received. Not even the sign works to pretend I have security. Came missing one piece! Total complete waste of money so far, high aggravation cost too!
