Expected more flexibility Bought ABODE for residential standalone use. Alarm system is effective yet simple. I'd expect the capability of dividing group of sensors in zones (ground floor, first floor, main house, barbecue place, etc) in order to allow different time delays per zone.

I would have provided 5 stars if my Z… I would have provided 5 stars if my Z wave Schlage connect Deadbolt would work on my system. It once did work but an apparent upgrade disconnected it and I cannot reconnect it. Also my GE z wave thermostat will not connect to your system. Another issue is your light bulbs. Once power is lost they do not reconnect to the system. This is inconvenient for a vacation home since no one is there to manually reconnect them. Other than those three items everything else works fine including your cameras.

Compatibility awareness The products are good, but here is my negative experience. Compatibility shortcomings with Homekit should have been mentioned before purchase. Only after purchasing we found out that the cameras are not compatible with Homekit. The other negative (which I think is big) is the kit did not contain any decals or a sign for the front yard. You have to pay to get these, after spending more than $600. The customer service is excellent.

Pretty much everything went well on installation and use. Other than a minor hiccup registering the Iota (corrected by tech support), everything else went well on installation. I'm getting notifications, both on the chime and on my phone (most of them at least). I haven't been able to test some of the devices yet like the smoke, motion or glass break detection.

Nothing has worked for me Nothing had worked for me. It’s all useless. The cameras never stay connected, the front door camera will not upgrade, online but black image. I have nothing set up to give alerts but paid for Pro plan? I see in an old email you were supposed to send me a sim to activate? Never received. Not even the sign works to pretend I have security. Came missing one piece! Total complete waste of money so far, high aggravation cost too!
