Compatibility awareness The products are good, but here is my negative experience. Compatibility shortcomings with Homekit should have been mentioned before purchase. Only after purchasing we found out that the cameras are not compatible with Homekit. The other negative (which I think is big) is the kit did not contain any decals or a sign for the front yard. You have to pay to get these, after spending more than $600. The customer service is excellent.

Expected more flexibility Bought ABODE for residential standalone use. Alarm system is effective yet simple. I'd expect the capability of dividing group of sensors in zones (ground floor, first floor, main house, barbecue place, etc) in order to allow different time delays per zone.

Very disappointing We ordered 2 outdoor cameras via their promo sale to go with our current Abode security system. Spent hours & days with 2 different techs & still not able to connect with our internet & the system. We sent it back after consulting with them & we were only reimbursed $55.32 for our $79.06 purchase. They said it was the shipping costs both ways but it was more than the shipping according to our calculation. This big promo “sale” ended up being a disappointing rip off!

Nothing has worked for me Nothing had worked for me. It’s all useless. The cameras never stay connected, the front door camera will not upgrade, online but black image. I have nothing set up to give alerts but paid for Pro plan? I see in an old email you were supposed to send me a sim to activate? Never received. Not even the sign works to pretend I have security. Came missing one piece! Total complete waste of money so far, high aggravation cost too!

We are long term users and love Abode We have been using Abode for home security and monitoring, leak detection, CO/Smoke detection, and multiple smart home functions (locks, lights, etc.) We love what Abode provides for us seamlessly, and perfectly customized to our needs. Abode connects easily through their mobile app, and we also access it through Alexa and Home Assistant. So versatile, customizable, and reliable. I can't say enough good things about Abode.
