GB8 Cameras didn't last 6 months Abode Cam 2 cameras are a waste of money. I bought 8 Cam 2 cameras for watching my mom's house, 3 interior and 5 exterior. She's 91 years old and lives 1000 miles away from me. Last year, I drove from Florida to Virginia, setup and installed the cameras, and got the Pro subscription. After about a week, the cameras started to go offline randomly. At first when they were power cycled they came back on. After about a month, they would not. In 6 months, all 8 cameras had failed and would not come back on when power cycled. My mom is not tech savvy enough to factory reset and setup the cameras again. Other devices, such as Amazon echo devices never had a problem. Wifi signal is strong. I have now replaced all abode cameras with Blink cameras and haven't had a problem since. The abode cameras are in a junk box.

GBPretty much everything went well on installation and use. Other than a minor hiccup registering the Iota (corrected by tech support), everything else went well on installation. I'm getting notifications, both on the chime and on my phone (most of them at least). I haven't been able to test some of the devices yet like the smoke, motion or glass break detection.

GBWe are long term users and love Abode We have been using Abode for home security and monitoring, leak detection, CO/Smoke detection, and multiple smart home functions (locks, lights, etc.) We love what Abode provides for us seamlessly, and perfectly customized to our needs. Abode connects easily through their mobile app, and we also access it through Alexa and Home Assistant. So versatile, customizable, and reliable. I can't say enough good things about Abode.

GBHard to get a good response by email… Hard to get a good response by email takes multiple attempts Sometimes alarm goes off no one calls is there a time indicator before you call ? I bought what I thought was a camera so I could monitor but probably my mistake it’s a motion detector

SXI love the system, but get the cameras in Apple Home I love the system, even though the settings get a little complicated and could use some pop-up explanations or examples to show when to turn something on or off. What I hate is that the cameras do not show up on HomeKit! I understand that there may be a different cost for Abode to do so. So then make another version for Apple users!
