GBNOT AT ALL HAPPY We have used fortress for over 9 years. We had Fortress come out to our house to upgrade our system about 2 years ago. The reason we requested the upgrade was because we were going from a land line to a wireless home phone. Once we upgraded the system our monthly service charge went up. However almost 2 years later--we are paying for service--but have not been monitored since the upgrade. The conversation with Fortress is that they have to come upgrade our system so that it will be compatible with Wireless phone service. We have tried on multiple occasions to cancel the service--but to no avail, we have not been able to do so and so they continue to auto debit our account. EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL... the new customer service representative say- Yes I see the notes--we were supposed to escalate this to management. But time and time again--that is where it ends. Everything is great--as long as you don't have a problem--then-- there is NO ONE to resolve it.

GBFinally feeling safe as a bug in a rug!!!! Robert was salesman and he did everything that he could to help me get my new security system. He did frequent follow up calls to make sure I had all of the information I needed to make a decision. He answered all of my questions and explained all of the terms to me and helped me the best he could as far as I know.The technician showed up to my home and installed my new security system did a good job his name was Jeff.

GBMy openion changed from bad to good only after Robert Trahan called to do a customer satisfaction call. We bought our house with fortress security wired and we never had it monitored but I loved that I could secure my home myself and when the system went down we called for repair . We payed the $200 for the technician to come out get our system back up and running. He only reset a code he didn't go anywhere else in the house . After a short while it wouldn't arm again and I called twice but felt like they didn't want to mess with my call because I wasn't a monitored customer . Robert Trahan months later called to ask about my satisfaction with my alarm system and after telling him how unsatisfied we were.. he took the time to listen and talk to me , explain things to me, try to get me to understand the system and helped me to become more knowledgeable and only with that we happily signed up for service

GBThis is the absolute worst company to use This is the absolute worst company to use!! We unfortunately had to use this company for our "smart home" features when we built. They came out, set it up and left didnt show us how to do anything, we hooked up att shortly after, the ethernet cable had to plug in the back of the wifi thing from att and now nothing works!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have called multiple times, spoken to multiple people i even called our builder, NOBODY will help us because it VOIDED warranty once somone else touched the wires. So if you have kids and they unplug it, your screwed. They wont even provide support over the phone they want labor of $95 an hour!!!!!! This company is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GBGreat Knowledgable Customer Service Customer Service Rep Robert did a great job explaining the differences between their equipment and the competitors. They worked with me on the budget, that I had, to drive down the cost but still have great home security. So far I am very happy and pleased with all Fortress representatives. The technician Greg, was super prompt, they worked around my busy work schedule and were able to install all necessary equipment timely.
