USWe recently had our alarm system… We recently had our alarm system upgraded and have already had a system failure. We had 2 false smoke alarms at last evening/early morning. Called first thing for a service call and could not be scheduled for 2 weeks, entirely too long to wait for a security system repair. Had we not been home, which would not be uncommon in the summer, I fear that the fire company may have broken into the house to look for the fire.

USBiggest Mistake of Home Purchase was This Alarm System I purchased a home 2 years ago and it was the best decision of my life. The worst decision of my home purchase was signing this 3 year agreement. The camera system is terrible, it is continually getting fixed. The cameras allow you to set limits on recording and how much movement and or not it catches and starts recording. It all is terrible. I have set these limits, walked through them with customer service and took their recommendations. I still have hundreds of recordings a day, reach my monthly quota and then they stop recording. Save yourself and go with Nest or ADT or any other service. I feel like I was ripped off.

USI would recommend Vector to anyone… I would recommend Vector to anyone that's looking for alarm system. I really appreciate technician "Dexter". I always asked for he to come do my repairs. He goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. He makes sure that everything is working properly before he leaves. Always suggests more things that we as a customer can do to protect our homes. Good Job Dexter.

USHope they treat their customers better than prospects. I purchased a home that had this company's security system installed. I decided not to continue using it. One year later, the alarm randomly starts going off every single time the front door opens. I've called Vector three times to resolve it. The first time, I was told that they can't take care of it because I'm not a customer. I called back and a man named Jonathan tried to walk me through disarming it, but I'm not comfortable with weird wiring and transformers. Called back again and got the same person who said he'd leave a message for troubleshooting to help me but no calls back. I left a message, no one returns your calls.

USI strongly suggest any other company… I strongly suggest any other company besides this one. Myself and my moms house both had them for several years. Lots of service problems and continually having issues with truly having a working alarm. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. Cancelling "service if you can call it that" immediately.
