GBUseless Useless. I cannot belive the experience I have had so far. I wouldnt mind but I'm actually trying to pay for a service and going round in circles. Want to purchase a ring protect account and no matter what I cannot pay with visa debit card. My bank tell me its because ring are not using 3ds authentication and there is nothing they can do. Ring say its not an authentication meth9d they use, so options are use another card! The bank tell me that this authentication method is industry standard and ring won't have it! The bank even said its an FCA regulation. I have no problem with debit card for any other payment I make. Yet ring just say use another card...even though I only have a credit card and don't wish to use and shouldn't have to. I asked for a copy of all of the recordings of calls id made regarding this issue....we don't have access to send you those...again reallytf!! You can request your data via the app....and yeah didn't have the option to request call recordings. It's not the case of me trying to be difficult it's a case of these guys can't even process a payment on a visa debit card and won't listen!!

GBThis has been a total waste of… This has been a total waste of money.....absolutely useless and unreliable. So disappointed, but this really is a con. We had no idea we needed to buy a subscription for a basic service, I certainly won't buy a Ring ever again.

GBPatronising staff The most rude, unhelpful and patronising customer services. I did not understand something about my billing so I asked for an explanation. The colleague replied with ‘Do the math’! I then said this is complicated, to which the colleagues replied with ‘No it isn’t’! I cannot imagine how awful this would have been if I was a vulnerable or elderly person! Ring have increased their prices by £15 this year and clearly none of the revenue has been reinvested in training their staff!

GBForever Changing Batteries I've had the Ring alarm system with door sensors, motion sensors and cameras. After a year, I found myself changing batteries every few days on the devices. I've tried expensive batteries and rechargeable ones with no luck. I've spoken to Ring support and they told me that each time I replace the batteries I should factory reset the device. I spend hours each month replacing batteries just to keep everything online. Long term, I'm going to replace the system with a wired system.
