They no-showed, no-called twice over a month to come back and inspect the work, plus other message dodging. It took five phone numbers to connect to someone at HomeAdvisor who said they could mediate between us. The contractor didn't respond for another month and then began blowing up my phone to say, "They work for us. We pay them. They can't help you." The mediator proved the terrible contractor accurate, and I spent more time talking with HomeAdvisor over the next six months than being helped. HomeAdvisor ultimately never got the contractor to the table for any conversation.

There is really no way to request a… There is really no way to request a simple repair. However, I just checked something to elicit a response and once I reached an actual person it went well. It was very frustrating to get responses from angi as though I wanted bids on a new system but it did get me in touch with someone who solved the problem. These elaborate computer systems make communication difficult.
