GBBarry Jones oversold me almost 100 sqft … Barry Jones oversold me almost 100 sqft of wood flooring. at first they would not take the extra back. i had to personally call the owner to arrange a return, once i returned the items, i was informed there was a $100 restocking fee. that was not disclosed until after the return. i would have chosen to keep the wood had i known about the $100 fee. it took several calls and weeks to actually receive the reimbursement on my credit card. that is the last time i do business with Barry Jones of mercer carpet one.
Disappointed
GBVery Disappointed! I was very disappointed in the service. The install job on our bathroom was just okay. Mercer never followed up to see if we were satisfied with the job. I will never use Mercer again or recommend them.

GBGreat service! We selected Mercer because of the positive online reviews, and we were not disappointed. We told Sheri what we wanted, and she suggested several carpets from which to select. She was very helpful and has a friendly personality. The installers arrived on time and did a wonderful job. We are very pleased with the carpet, and it looks great. You will not regret using Mercer Carpet One Floor & Home.

GBSales and service was excellent but floor installer was somewhat difficult to work with. Floor installer was somewhat difficult to work with. Always seemed in a rush and spent a lot of time running in and out of the house on the phone. He used the wrong color grout after being question about it and showing the order. Mercer was great about scheduling re-grout with correct color. I'm not thrilled with the floor tile. It looks wonderful, but seems delicate. Pattern is on surface (doesn't go all the way through tile). Sliding chairs around kitchen table has scraped surface of tile and white under-layer showed through. Mercer was very good about replacing tiles and supplying chair slides. Problem was the chair slides provided were just like the ones I already had on the chair legs. The vinyl/plastic slides seem to get rough/scared by grit/dirt that accumulates on floor and then scratch the tile when chairs are pulled out or pushed under the table. Floor is frequently vacuumed and damp-mopped making it not very easy to maintain. I have since gone to felt pads on chair legs but have to keep replacing them since they don't stay attached very long. I am completely satisfied with the ceramic tile that was installed on wall above counter top.
