GBI am at large building at 417 N 8th St in Philadelphia, PA. I am at 417 N 8th St at a business in this large building there. As you enter there is a guard/security station where you can check in and ask questions. I stopped there to ask for directions at the guard there is Chelsea, a younger 20’s-30’s woman of color working there. This woman Chelsea is so pleasant and soft spoken while answering questions. She knows her job and gives direction in a professional authoritative way that leaves the person asking the questions feeling comfortable with the information provided by Chelsea and knowing that the information is good information. It may be easy to not notice this extraordinary woman doing her job but her management should take notice of her and give her the kudos she deserves and probably more money and more responsibilities. She can handle the responsibilities.

GBIf I could give zero stars I would If I could give zero stars I would. I have had encounters with their guards multiple times where they have dropped the location they are guarding because they'd rather protect their guards instead of taking accountability for their staff. Each situation the guard escalates the situation. One time they were my complex's security and their guard got so power happy that he shot someone on our property. Allied then dropped us as a client instead of holding the guard accountable. One time I was leaving a Walgreens and was followed out of the store and harassed by their guard and when I reported him I was told they don't have that location. Fun fact, Allied is used at EVERY Walgreens... Need I say more?

GBHorrible place to work at for women… Horrible place to work at for women they discriminate and harass. Uniforms are fitted but has malfunctions, they do not care about the people who work for their company and if they do not like you working there they will do random write ups to make it seem as though you don’t do your job correctly. They do not train you, supervisors and managers are very rude and disrespectful also lazy. If you are a woman do not work for this company they and if any problems arise I would tell you to call a lawyer. Their HR number does not work, even the people in the Home Office are lazy they don’t answer the front desk phone. Very horrible experience and I have worked for GardaWorld as well and can say they have much more class than Allied Universal.

GBMy husband had worked for this company… My husband had worked for this company for over two years until they were replaced by another security company. Allied was given enough to give everyone a $2 in the hour raise but kept it all except 71¢ . When they were replaced they cheated everyone out of 1 days pay and told employees they have to prove they owe it to them. The people they hired were mostly foul mouthed dirty lazy people. Not all of them but the majority. When my husband had to actually engage in a situation where someone broke into a federal site and he stopped them, put his life in true danger, there was no thank you or anything! My husband is a retired Marine Corp veteran but the upper echelon off site are very rude and unprofessional! Maybe depending on the site a person works it could be better but don't hold your breath!
