GBI hired Safeway because I have a… I hired Safeway because I have a military family, and they are veteran-owned. What a mistake. From the start, there was deception. I was quoted a price of around $7000 for my move, which cost me $11,000. At the same time, the move out of my place in Boston seemed professional and smooth. When I picked a delivery window (3 days) months in advance, my furniture was nowhere to be seen. I called and called and got no legitimate answer, and then I got no answer. None whatsoever. I just stopped calling after I moved into my new place, and a Safeway representative told me to live on an air mattress. They are deceiving and dishonest. Almost one month after my delivery date, I got a call saying my furniture was coming the next day, with no notice. My furniture arrived broken. 13 pieces of furniture were broken, and I am in the dark. No one cares; there is no management. Please stay away if you want to see your belongings on the other end. They should be out of business, and more people must write about this terrible company.

GBThey Showed up to 10 am like they said… They Showed up to 10 am like they said and worked with dedication from packing to delivery. I was impressed with how they wrapped it up flawlessly in 8 hours (including delivery time).will definitely hire them again!

GBThis company is a scam This company is a scam. I was quoted comparable rates, but wanted to support a Veteran owned company, as I am also a Vet. The day before my movers were to pickup my household items, no one had called to confirm, I had to reach out to them we went over the manifest again, providing exact measurements of all my belongings, plus the exact number of boxes. I was then informed they wouldnt pack my tv and paintings, when i was originally told they would. After requesting to speak to a supervisor, i was told they would do it for an additional $100. When the movers arrived, they immediately said all my items were larger then what I indicated- FALSE. The movers said it would be an additional $800 or they wouldn't take my stuff. I had no options since I was leaving the next day. I was called a couple of days later for my new address and I filed a complaint. I was told a supervisor would call me THAT day to hear my grievance. No one called! When my items were to be delivered, the CONTRACTED delivery company had different policies than Safeway and it cost me an additional $150 for the delivery. I should have not let my soft heart for fellow vets cloud my financial decision making. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY- SCAM!

GBHorrible movers - so much damage I had such high hopes for this company and was so incredibly disappointed. Safeway ruined thousands of dollars of our things, including water damage that they never disclosed! They lied to us about when our belongings would arrive and went so far as to give us false tracking information. Boxes arrived crushed and with holes in them. Dozens of boxes never arrived at all. The truck looked like they had thrown our items in - there was a 100+ lb. chair on top of a pile of fragile boxes. They brought clearly labeled boxes in upside down! They had put heavy boxes on top of boxes that were clearly marked with fragile items like lamps. They showed a complete disregard for our belongings. I have never had such a horrible experience with a moving company. They never apologized or even attempted to make things right.

GBGreat service and awesome reply time! Austin helped me secure a professional crew on very short notice (less than 24 hours) for my out of state move. He was super responsive and even stayed a bit past working hours to get the job secured. The crew gave me a time they'd be there and they actually arrived just a little early. The process was super easy; they wrapped up all my furniture, loaded it into the truck and were even gracious to move some stuff I didn't ask for but was much appreciated. Overall, was a great experience and would recommend!
