GBDo not use Starline Van Lines I'm reluctant to leave a negative review as I know it affects real people, but it's important for those who are considering using Starline to understand what they're paying for and the risks. We decided to hire Starline because their sales rep, Phil, convinced us that they were an honest and reputable company. This could not be further from the truth. We were all but guaranteed a move-in date, barring unforeseen circumstances like bad weather, which is understandable. When the movers didn't show up on time, I had to make several calls to get an update. When I finally got through to someone, there was no information available and no apology for the delay. Six days later, our movers arrived. Part of the package was to set up furniture, put things together, etc. However, because we had helped the movers on the front end by disassembling things, they said they could not reassemble. I understand why they do not want to accept responsibility if I misplaced parts, etc., but this was not communicated to us and there was no sense of responsibility or accountability. Instead, the movers (who I will say were kind and polite) moved our stuff inside the house and left without any further assistance. In short, we paid 2x the other quotes and in return, our movers were extremely late, didn't communicate, didn't apologize or take accountability for the delay and didn't provide the full service we were promised. I highly recommend avoiding Starline. Their blatant dishonesty and lack of accountability only reinforces the poor reputation the industry has as a whole.

CAThey made it look easy... They made it look easy, even though it wasn’t! On the first day, everything couldn’t have been better; everything was packed, stacked, and prepped for our move the following day. The six of them loaded and unloaded a very packed truck in record time. And what stood out most to me is what great people they are—personable and professional. If I have a choice and need to move, they are going to be the first company I contact.

GBONLINE SCAMMERS Buyer beware, these are online scammers, it is not a legitimate business. Take it from me, once they cash your check, you’re on your on. They will block your number, you can’t reach them through regular business hours. All their positive reviews are posted by them don’t believe them. They go by the name StarLine Van lines and when they cash the check it goes by the name Lancaster Van Lines. Use another legitimate movers like Budget or even UHaul. I honestly cannot recommend these SCAMMERS to anyone. The ring leader scammer his name is Phil

GBI had a great experience with Starline… I had a great experience with Starline Vanlines. I moved from New York to Florida due to wanting to be close to my family. Their cancellation policy was completely irrelevant to me as I was moving 100% lol why do people book moves if they aren’t moving? Sounds a bit weird to me, but anyways. New York was way too crowded and expensive so moving to FL had much more benefits. Their carrier showed up on time and did an excellent job with the little future I had. They packed within the hour and left after all the paperwork was signed. Upon Florida they unloaded it into my family’s home and all items arrived in good conditions. Price was okay but can’t complain. Would recommend.
