GBNot a shipping company, only brokers. Run away. When I needed to ship furniture and housewares from Belmont, MA to Austin, TX and San Francisco, CA I received an accceptable quote from a man named Phil at Starline Van Lines. When the movers showed up to pick up everything they refused to continue loading my freight unless I agreed to an additional 20% shipping cost. When I asked to speak with a manager over the phone I was told by her, "I don't give a damn what some broker somewhere has quoted you. Sign, or we will put everything back inside." At that point I realized I had been lied to and that Starline Van Lines is not s hipping company, but a shipping broker. I emailed and called Starline. They did not respond to my emails or return my phone calls when I tried to get a refund for the difference. I finally gave up. This company will give you fake quotes to get your business and let you hang when an actual shipper shows up and demands more money. At which point you are screwed. Do not do business with these crooks.

GBONLINE SCAMMERS Buyer beware, these are online scammers, it is not a legitimate business. Take it from me, once they cash your check, you’re on your on. They will block your number, you can’t reach them through regular business hours. All their positive reviews are posted by them don’t believe them. They go by the name StarLine Van lines and when they cash the check it goes by the name Lancaster Van Lines. Use another legitimate movers like Budget or even UHaul. I honestly cannot recommend these SCAMMERS to anyone. The ring leader scammer his name is Phil

GBWe appreciated their professionalism... We appreciated their professionalism, hard work, and how efficient they were. They were a great team. They packed the truck quickly, went up and down a lot of stairs, and nothing was broken. They were kind, and we appreciated all their hard work.

GBDo not use Starline Van Lines I'm reluctant to leave a negative review as I know it affects real people, but it's important for those who are considering using Starline to understand what they're paying for and the risks. We decided to hire Starline because their sales rep, Phil, convinced us that they were an honest and reputable company. This could not be further from the truth. We were all but guaranteed a move-in date, barring unforeseen circumstances like bad weather, which is understandable. When the movers didn't show up on time, I had to make several calls to get an update. When I finally got through to someone, there was no information available and no apology for the delay. Six days later, our movers arrived. Part of the package was to set up furniture, put things together, etc. However, because we had helped the movers on the front end by disassembling things, they said they could not reassemble. I understand why they do not want to accept responsibility if I misplaced parts, etc., but this was not communicated to us and there was no sense of responsibility or accountability. Instead, the movers (who I will say were kind and polite) moved our stuff inside the house and left without any further assistance. In short, we paid 2x the other quotes and in return, our movers were extremely late, didn't communicate, didn't apologize or take accountability for the delay and didn't provide the full service we were promised. I highly recommend avoiding Starline. Their blatant dishonesty and lack of accountability only reinforces the poor reputation the industry has as a whole.
