At first they seemed legit At first they seemed legit - not brokers. We had no furniture just boxes, storage unit, a couple chairs & beds. When we got to storage unit the packer asked us if we had a tool chest & did it have tools in it. We said yes but it’s on wheels. They loaded everything & charged us to put our boxes in wardrobe boxes. Ended up doubling our quote. Then they took everything to a “safe” storage unit in Kent wa for 3 days. I watched with my tracker I put in a box - things were being moved around in storage. Finally get to our house a week later & no one shows to help semi driver unload - we had to unpack the truck with him. I called about this & FCM got mad at me - yelling & calling me names. Finally unpack what was delivered to find tool chest & all tools were gone. All my husbands clothes were gone. Every Seahawks signed memorabilia was gone but they left the display cases they were in. Only 7 of the 10 wardrobe boxes we paid for was delivered. No numbers to check off as they came off truck - also couldn’t because we were unloading the truck! They didn’t offer any other insurance other than 60 cents a lb. Now one of their workers is well dressed with a LOT tools & we’ll get nothing. do not accept theirb list of items - if it says box #122 they wont pay for anything in it. make them list out every item our problem was trusting this company & their workers. What a scam!!

Scammers First, I spoke with Doug via text and on the phone for a move from VA to FL. Super personable, made me feel comfortable with going with this company. I told Doug I had a 2 bedroom condo. He quoted me $1717.52 & told me it wouldn’t be above $1900. Sold! I did my $450 Venmo deposit. The day of pick up came & I was greeted by 3 movers. Super fast/did great. But then came all of these extra charges. The movers said I had more than 300 cf. I said-there’s no way. I got the quote & told both Doug and Elizabeth what I had and both said I’d be fine. I still paid the money bc the move needed to happen. I called customer service and was told I’d be given a $200 credit. (Never saw that) I tried calling doug and Elizabeth to see what went wrong. I got a call back from Hilary from the # I had for Doug. I answered-hi doug, she informs me of who she is and I said- I’d like to speak with Doug.she said she’d be able to help. So I tell her I’m being double charged and Doug said it wouldn’t be over $1900.Immediately, she gave me an attitude and told me doug would never say that and she knows he wouldn’t say that bc he’s her husband. She went on and on & wasn’t even listening to me. She said she’d pull the phone recording and get back to me. She never got back to me. Probably bc she found out I was right. Doug finally texted me and asked if I’d still like to speak and I said yes. He never called or texted me again. I was told by Dana I can file a claim- so I’m in the process of that. It took the full 14 business days for me to receive my items. Only 1 man was sent to unload my items, the driver. He was great and I felt bad for him. He wouldn’t unload my items until he had final payment. (Which the $200 wasn’t taken off & he said I’d have to take it up with first movers) They only take zelle, cash and money order…even though I paid with Venmo and a check for deposit and pick up. Ended up paying the balance in cash. The driver starts to unload. I tell him the items aren’t mine. He said yes they were- white stickers. I said no it’s not-I had yellow stickers and I numbered my boxes. I showed him my pictures. He confirms with someone that my shipment(3rd drop off)and the 2nd drop off were reversed. So my items were behind someone else’s. He had to spend time moving the other people’s belongings to get to my stuff. While he was unloading my stuff, he was asking if items were mine. My items are in storage so I won’t even know if I have everything for about a year. It was so unorganized and I’m super disappointed in the way I was treated and lied to. I will NEVER do business with first class movers again and I will spread the word too until this is rectified. Awful, awful, awful! I googled how many cubic feet is a 2 bedroom condo and it says 400-600. They’re measurements don’t add up. It’s not like I’m the movers-I trusted them and was scammed $1,528.13!! Do yourself a favor and do NOT use them! Photos of my quote, my pick up bill and what they actually moved from my place. Everything fit in my dining room!! If this isn’t taken care of, I will be getting a lawyer

Zero Communication If There Are Issues Communication at the beginning—from getting a quote to scheduling pickup—was good. Not excellent, there were times we reached out to confirm date/time and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Pickup was in time. Movers doubled the cost from the over the phone quote, but at that point we had no choice but to proceed. We had very few furniture pieces (2 desks, a bookcase, a dresser, large cat tree) and the rest was boxes. Movers were quick, but not particularly careful. Taking boxes out of the hallway, they tore out a flooring transition piece, said nothing to me, and put it in the closet. Delivery was where it really went sideways. When we booked them, we were assured they don’t broker out moves, it was all handled by them and our Seattle to LA move was a frequented route for them. They delivered within their estimated window, but the original calls assured us it would likely be 5 days earlier than when they finally arrived. All communication via email to keep us updated on delivery date listed First Class Movers. Movers show up, and can’t take the money order because we made it out to First Class Movers and they were a different moving company. Tried calling original contact to make sure this was legit, no answer. Delivery was 2 men who seemed ill equipped and were stacking heavy boxes on top of “glass” “fragile” in the street. Boxes were also very beat up on delivery, some with holes, collapsing, etc. This shows that even though I marked boxes “heavy” or “fragile” their priority was to stack boxes high and overload the boxes rather than ensure items made it safely. Boxes were tagged with numbered labels when they were picked up but many of these labels fell off during transit so it’s impossible to check off all the boxes on delivery. Ultimately, we are missing at least 7 boxes now that we have unpacked. We have tried to reach out via phone, text and email in the hopes someone could attempt to track down our missing boxes and have received zero response. Also important to note that at no point did the person over the phone address insurance or adding additional coverage for the move, which means filing a claim if successful results in $0.60 per pound of missing stuff. But the charge by cubic feet, not weight, so there’s no way to verify the weight they took compared to the weight they delivered. We’re missing four boxes of books, a box of kitchen supplies and two boxes of makeup/toiletries and are looking at over $3500 of missing items that we may be eligible to recover about $150 of. And again, once they have your stuff and your money, communication plummets and then ceases completely. This was my first time hiring movers for an out of state move and it has soured me on doing it again. Even trying to make the move as uncomplicated as possible by bringing very little furniture and having it all in boxes didn’t work.

Abusive marketing practices Abusive marketing practices by the General Manager, Doug. Won't stop texting after requested. Be careful if you give your phone number to request a quote. They don't like it of you decline and the put effort into letting you know.
