GBWould leave negative stars if it was an option This company was hired last week beginning of March 2023, and was nothing but unprofessional , the driver of the truck ran into my entry gate and then proceeded to tell me that it was not a big deal. (See photos) I attempted to contact the company who you would think would contact me because they caused damage to my gate. The phone numbers to claims go nowhere dead ends with no voicemails not once has anyone answered my call I reported them to BBB . And will most likely have to take them to small claims to resolve this . I sent an email and no responses ever no responses or callbacks from any managers. I’ve left messages with the person and sales Martin who answered the phone is very unprofessional. This company is all about taking your money and no customer service untrustworthy not someone you want moving your personal items. No respect for your property. They then proceeded to ask my sister for a tip after all this, and they tried to guilt her into it by saying that the coworkers think that one of the persons pocketed a tip so to send a Venmo tip very unprofessional I would never hire them steer clear! See the photos below the damage they cost, which is left unpaid.

GBBest Fit Movers (USDOT # 3051481)… Best Fit Movers (USDOT # 3051481) provides horrendous customer service, lies to you, never calls you back, and hold your items in order to extory you of more money. They broke their contractual obligations on delivery timelines to me causing me to incur costs to house my family while they withheld my belongings. And they owe my $4983 in a refund that is now 8+ business days past the date they delivered all my belongings. Here’s a list of grievances including how the extorted me paying more than I should have, and how I had to pay via credit card when they agreed to invoiced ACH payment (which caused me a 10% credit processing fee) They missed my contractually agreed upon delivery date of June 11th. Their sales manager confirmed on Friday the 10th that all required payments had been received and the truck drivers were on time for a delivery on Saturday the 11th between 8-10am. They never arrived, and after 6 phone calls from me to their dispatch manager, he informed me payment hadn't been received and they never sent the trucks. The sales manager lied to me. Roberto agreed to send the trucks after understanding I was paying via ACH had already processed the ACH payment on Friday for $4983 When they arrived Tuesday, dispatch wouldn’t let them drive to the house because the ACH hadn’t cleared yet. It was 3 business days post processing and takes up to 5. I had no other invoices to approve and didn’t have a way to pay anything else. He explained that I had to now pay in full my entire cost of the move. My contract stipulated I only owed half upfront and the 2nd half post unloading. He also said I was no longer allowed to pay via credit card and must pay via cashiers check, again breaking my contract. I was able to find an invoice on their website that was wrong but let me pay most of the amount via credit card. After I paid it Roberto in dispatch then confirmed it would be acceptable. However, prior to me finding that option on my own, he refused to accept a credit card payment from me when I was pleading to do so in order to have the drivers released to unload. Except that I was forced to pay the full $27106 even though I had already paid $4983 that was already in process with the bank. After calling Sales mgmt and explaining the issue post ny move, I’ve been told now that they need to clear with their supervisor. This was Monday June 20th because the sales manager, who I was told by dispatch “the only one that can approve payments” was on vacation. It’s now Thursday 23rd and they only returned my text because I threatened to sue them. So I’ve paid $32,089 when I only owed $27,106 bringing a refund owed of $4983. Except now they’re saying I’m only owed $2600 with no explanation of their math. They also owe me money for items not delivered after they were confirmed packed & loaded from my departure. And they damaged items that need to be replaced via insurance. Only after threatening to sue did they let me know the process for filing a claim. Lastly, they arrived in trucks that did not have driving lights or taillights. The drivers complained to me that their management forced them to drive trucks that don't pass legal safety inspections (turn and brake lights not working, broken seat belts, etc.)

GBMoving is never easy Moving is never easy, but Martine helped us over the first hurdle; that is, finding a moving company you can feel good about. Martine took the time to explain the process and the costs associated with our move. The next potential pitfall is moving day. However, Steve, Victor, and Bran lessened our anxiety by arriving promptly and treating us and our goods professionally and with care. They were quick, polite and a pleasure to work with. Thank you all!
