The movers were professional The movers were professional, courteous, friendly, and they were always on time. Everything was packed carefully and in a timely manner and it all arrived in the same condition as before the move. Great service. My items were safely loaded and delivered to my house and put exactly where I wanted.

I used Value moving from NY to Fla I used Value moving from NY to Fla. overcharged for items that werent on the truck l, took 2 weeks to get it here, they used another company to get from one place to another. A lot of my glassware was broken & wanted to give me 60 cents per pound. Tried disputing overcharging nothing happened. Get another moving company this one is horrible

This company gave me a quote for moving… Value Added Moving gave me a quote for moving the contents of a 10x30 storage unit. The quote was $2,145.00. I explained that the storage unit was pretty full but that I couldn't provide details of the contents since I had put them in storage over 10 years ago. I spoke with 2 different people at Value Added Moving over the course of about 2 weeks and they assured me they would be able to move my belongings from Colorado to Florida for the quote they provided. I had saved just enough money to pay for the quote they provided and fly out to Colorado. My goal was to get rid of some things that I didn't want to pay to move. I hired a very nice local helper to assist me in pulling everything out of the unit to see what I actually had stored there. I also paid a junk company $600.00 to dispose of furniture and other items so there would be less for the moving company to take. I received a call from the someone from Value Added Moving while I was going through the boxes at the storage unit. I explained that even though I was getting rid of many items the storage unit was still about 2/3 full. He assured me that they would have plenty of room on the truck. I flew back home that night and then two days later the moving driver arrived at the storage unit. He said it would cost me a total of $9,356.02 for him to take all of my things. I told him that was over $7,000.00 more than the original quote that I was provided by the company. I explained that I didn't have enough money to pay an additional $7,000.00. He said he wasn't going to take my things and he left. I called the original contact person I spoke with at Value Added Moving (Erik) and he suggested I send a detailed email to the general customer service email address requesting my deposit back. I followed his advice and sent an email explaining what happened. I received a reply from "Customer Service" stating they would refund my deposit within 72 hours. After a week I still hadn't receive the refund of my deposit and I called them again. The person I spoke with (someone I hadn't spoken with before) said I would not get a refund because the driver went to the unit - even though he didn't do anything! I explained that they knew this information and still emailed me that I would get my deposit back. The man I was speaking with just said that I would not get a refund and hung up. I have written to the Attorney General in the state of Florida (where this company's headquarters are located) and filed a complaint and am waiting for a reply. This company is obviously uses this technique to get deposits that they have no intention on returning using the same logic. It's easy to provide a lowball quote, send the driver who then quotes a much higher amount. Then you have a choice to pay the higher amount or lose your deposit. Either way it's a win-win for Value Added Moving and a loss for you! THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED! Do not use VALUE ADDED MOVING!!!

Arrived a half-hour early The team arrived a half-hour early, consolidated smaller loads into a container, disassembled and wrapped my furniture, and got it in the truck in under an hour. And even though I left before them, they were already at the destination waiting for me.

DONT EVER CALL THIS COMPANY DONT EVER CALL THIS COMPANY. That’s all I can say. They will destroy your items and never show up when they say. They cracked our 10k hot tub and then said it was our fault for some reason
