I had a terrible experience with this… I had a terrible experience with this company. The red flag should’ve flown when the informed me that I couldn’t use my credit car for payment but to send a wire. Wrong move! I after reading all the terrible reviews I cancelled the service, but they did not send my credit. I am a senior single with limited funds, but they basically ignored me. So, all in all they stole $2500. They have no morals nor compassion. Please do not use this company if you don’t want to be ripped off. They have a habit I see of replying to the bad reviews, but it’s all lies, and twisting facts.

Excellent job! The guys were absolutely awesome: prompt, professional, respectful of customers & property, friendly, trustworthy; the list goes on...! They couldn’t do enough for us; a real credit goes to them. They definitely raise the bar in this line of work; trust me, we’ve had some experiences! Full marks plus some more extra! Please use them.

BEWARE. BEWARE.. This company is a SCAM initially quoting a low amount, then when they got to my house they required twice the amount to take what they had verbally already agreed to. They convinced me to pay with my bank via routing number and checking account so I have no recourse, like I would have had with a credit card. I ended up having them take some of my belongings and I had to hire another company to get the remaining things moved. In addition, they took over 3 weeks to move my belongings. BEWARE … DO NOT TRUST THEM

Carley is Amazing! American Movers Direct's customer service is very thoughtful. I had to cancel my move with them due to my 2 yr. old doberman being in the ER - and they were able to work some magic and help me in the time of need. I couldn't be more thankful and appreciative of Carley, who took care of my situation with both compassion and care. Thank you guys for dealing with a hard person to deal with (myself), and working with me. I sincerely and whole heartedly appreciate it!

Fantastic! I was looking around comparing movers and packers, it when I came across these movers. I spoke to a guy via call who quoted me prices for my home move. He was very helpful and knowledgeable in what we can and cannot do. Regarding how many boxes we will need, arranging transport etc. Everything was transparent and no hidden additional charges.
