GBDO NOT USE EASY ROAD MOVING AND… DO NOT USE EASY ROAD MOVING AND STORAGE!!! NOT at all a professional moving company. Move from FL to MD. Booked the move through Vanity Van Lines - figured that was who was conducting the move. Easy Road moving shows up on 2/10 - late in the day, packed items; re-boxed items throwing items into larger boxes. I had exact box count - which for the movers didn't appear to needed. Cubic feet is what was needed. We left things behind. They didn't have the list of items - Vanity sent over another list, they didn't get it, used the list I had. Pounding boxing around nothing professional about loading the items. Also, didn't realize items were going to be delivered to a WH in Miami to then get loaded into a truck at a later date for delivery. Get to MD deliver 16 days later, driver shows up LATE, by himself, states helpers are on the way. Never show, he starts unloading small boxes waiting for helpers, never show, has to come back next day, LATE, helpers finally show, find out they are not "professional movers" but are landscapers, to which you could tell. Many items busted up; furniture broken; boxes wet and smashed. You are at their mercy nothing can be done. They charge you more then what was agreed upon. You accept your broken items - they leave. File a claim through third part claim company, to only receive letter that explains nothing of how they determined the amount of $75 to be sent to me - after missing extra day of work; receiving extra charges; receiving broken items. We the customer are at the their mercy. They win. If you want something done right do it yourself, don't pay someone thousands of dollars it is so not worth it - this company was so not worth it. Stay clear of them; Stay clear of Vanity Van lines.
