GBFINALLY A MOVING COMPANY YOU CAN TRUST I had an overall great experience with American Way Moving to help guide me on all the stressful parts that comes with moving...I truly was Blessed to have been assigned to Blake S. who helped me navigate and figure out everything that had to be done and accounted for, and he was so pleasant to deal with! Very professional and answered every call and question I had..I would highly recommend this company because of him!

GBReally garbage company Really garbage company. A really confident sales person assured us that all of our questions were answered properly and we would be receiving our items on our move in day. It has now been 2 weeks since my original drop off date and i have no updates, i cannot find the contract anymore, and the company is putting me in a continuous loop of confusion and not giving me an answer. Honestly Carlos, and Anthony you guys do not deserve to work there i hope you get fired.

GBGreat job and we are super thankful to you! They arrived promptly and began working on my move without delay. Following my instructions on what to retain and what do discard, they escorted me around the house and attended to all other matters. In my new home, they loaded all of my belongings without destroying a single wall. I would gladly suggest them to anyone.

GBI called around to several moving… I called around to several moving companies before settling with American Way Movers. Dan was super helpful in guiding me through this process. He made helpful suggestions and helped save me a lot of time and aggravation. We ran into a little timing snafu and his team was ready to find a solution. Moving from New Jersey with a lifetime of memories, furniture and all of my household items was scary. These guys work hard and made sure everything was taken care of and delivered on time. The traffic was terrible and caused a few days delay but Dan communicated frequently which put me at ease. I highly recommend Dan Williams and his team at American Way Moving.

GBA Poor Company that provides below average moving services. 3/26-4/20 A poor Company that provides below average moving services. ***. Communications Poor, a troubling Issue. Before I begin my review, a little about me: I am a Retired US Navy Storekeeper, 21 years. I am a professional expert in procurement, packing, shipping, receiving, transportation, warehousing, inventory management and control, hazmat, financial management, contracting , logistics, etc. This is a professional and experienced detailed evaluation of American Way Movers. With my experience, overall it is a poor company with serious communications and customer service issues. you really should read my entire review. American Way movers is a moving brokerage company out of Pompano Beach, Florida. They are fully licensed and registered with the US Department of Transportation. They did not actually move my household goods but subcontracted it out to Ryder Relocations based in New Jersey at a lower rate. This should be very important to you so be sure to ask whom is actually doing the transporting. I called around several other moving companies for quotes, the average was $5500. I did save around $1000 but the headaches weren't worth the savings. This was an estimate for a two bedroom house and more than likely your final bill will be much more than any quote especially if you have a larger household. ADDITIONALLY, nearly every larger company tried to convince me that the amount of people moving around was greater than it actually is and some wanted to charge me extra for expedited services. Those other companies falsely stating that they were extremely busy and could not meet my time frame unless I paid extra. American Way Movers gave me a lower quote, was up front with the fact that they are also a brokerage, was able to meet my requested pick up dates without additional charge, and as I mentioned they can probably provide lower industry prices due to contracts they may have in place. My move consisted of a two bedroom house with garage 1100 miles and was based on cubic footage. KEEP IN MIND, BY LAW, A MOVER OR BROKERAGE COMPANY CANNOT CHARGE YOU FOR CUBIC FOOTAGE AND WEIGHT AT THE SAME TIME. IT IS EITHER ONE OR THE OTHER. This option should be offered to you and agreed upon before you make any deposits. READ YOUR CONTRACT and bill of laden thoroughly before you sign. Long haul moving is not cheap ! Some may think a DIY move is more cost-effective, but when you factor in rentals, personal labor and time, fuel, mileage, and insurance costs, hotels, meals, and the stresses of moving out of one place into another within set time frames, and physically packing and moving belongings around yourself, I believe it is much more worthwhile and cost-effective to contract a company to do that for you. Most people just do not have the time nor manpower to cut costs. With that in mind, My initial contact with the company was with a representative named Daniel Williams. Daniel was professional and pleasant and he quoted me a fair estimate price for my move based on the majority of items I described to him. An initial down payment of $1,000 was required at the time of booking and I was also provided a sizable veteran discount. Other discounts might apply so be sure to ask. A second contact was with a company representative named JJ. He went over my general inventory and inquired about any items, services, and materials I had not noted during my initial contact. Based on additional items, materials, and services requested, an additional $500 was required. The ryder moving crew was very good. 3 weeks down the road after several phone calls and correspondence AWM called to state they could not cash my money order and would have to return it to me which was just more headaches canceling the money order then getting a new one paid out to Ryder. I would not recommend this company whatsoever. You'll get nothing communication wise and headaches. SG USN ret.
