GBBig time bait and switch After you read this, run! These guys moved me from San Diego to Phoenix area. Started with a “virtual” estimate not to exceed $8,700. Told the sales rep my stuff is big, heavy and I have a lot. He was adamant of getting 4 guys and a 28’ moving truck. The actual mover showed up on moving day and said it wont fit. Needs a second truck and wanted an additional $7,800. Oh, by the way, cash only or postal money order. This is the worst case of bait and switch that I have seen. Also, the movers swooped up my footstool claiming it was theirs. On top of all, they contracted a vehicle transport for $450 to take my 750 Beamer. The guy unloads around the corner, drives it up to the house, and keeps the drivers side towards me. Turns out this knucklehead dropped a hook and spent over $800 at the body shop. These guys are brokers, not actual movers. Better off going with a direct because these guys will tell you anything you want to hear but have no skin in the game.

GBNot Trustworthy Super nice salesman, but of course he's trying to get your business. They will say the right things to get your business. It's all a lie. They underestimated the quote by 1/3. Tried to get a hold of the salesman after writing a check so we can get our stuff delivered and cannot get a hold of him. Called customer service several times and it's a vicious cycle. They will tell you something different each time. I would avoid this company. Has not been a good experience and we've been sleeping on the floor for the past three nights with our 3-month-old. Hotels get expensive after a couple days.

INThieves!!! - Bait and Switch Avoid them at all costs. They are just another broker who will say anything to get your money. My experience with Transit moving systems has been horrible and painful. It started with a call from Jerry Reed from the sales team. We discussed at length about the particulars of the move and I repeatedly asked him multiple times about any unforeseen charges or last minute hickups, and he assured me there will be none. 1) Jerry assured me that they are a moving company and not a broker company and that it would be their own team who will be doing the move. False, the move was contracted out via brokers. 2) On pickup, the movers were rude and brash. They did not wear protective layers on their shoes. The movers kept on insisting that I was over volume, when I was clearly not and he wouldn't even listen to me. 3) He kept insisting on charging me for interior stairs, when infact I had it in writing that there would be no charges for interior stairs. 4) During the time of the delivery, some other company called me, again the driver was very rude. They were supposed to deliver on Saturday, the 25th of March, but the driver arrived early and said that he will deliver on Wednesday, the 22nd. He did not give me choice, and said that if I dont take delivery, he will charge me for storage. 5) The driver charged me an additional $550 for shuttle service stating that the 18-wheeler would not arrive at my house and they would need a shuttle. When booking the move, I discussed with Jerry and told him that only garbage trucks can enter the street. Jerry assured me that there will be no additional charges. 6) When I tried to reach Jerry to discuss this, guess what, he was sick the whole week and I couldn't get in touch. 7) If you call them after you book the move, they will send you around in circles between dispatch and sales team, and no one will give you a proper answer.

GBTransit matched the price. Transit movers are the best option out there. I had a lower estimate from other company that I wasn't totally comfortable with and they matched the prices. Loved doing business with you.

GBHorrible experience Horrible experience! Very stressful working with this company. Poor customer service. TLDR: Told me the quoted price was the highest I'd pay to move the items on my list, and then when they ran out of space on the truck, they were going to charge me more to move the items on my list. We ended up paying other movers because I wasn't going to give them a cent more. Long version: I hired Transit for a local move that occurred on 7/28/23. I worked with a "moving specialist" (Joan) who was responsible for the itemized list and expected space those items would take. He and I reviewed the list multiple times, and I also reviewed the itemized list with another person from the company a couple of days before the move. Joan told me that the quote was a flat rate, and that I would not be charged more on the day of my move; however, if we used less space, the rate would be adjusted down in my favor. The contract that I signed stated that "the rate is accurate for the amount of items and space listed in this quote." I clarified with Joan additionally over the phone in the days before the move that the quoted price was the highest price, and he confirmed that. Joan also told me that I would have a 4 man moving crew. On the day of the move, only 2 men showed up for our move (3131 sq ft house, 4 bedrooms) despite being told I would have 4 men to move. After they finally completely filled the truck, they told me that they were out of space, despite not moving multiple large items on my itemized list (including a futon, two bookcases, and a bowflex machine). At that time (after business hours because it took the 2 guys so long to load the truck by themselves), I was told I would be charged extra for another trip to retrieve the other items not moved. My "moving specialist" was gone for the day since it was after business hours, and the customer service person that I was able to get ahold of told me that my rate was not a flat rate. He told me that the rate was based on the amount of actual space taken, not a quote, and the itemized list did not matter - only the space taken - despite the email I had from Joan and the above-mentioned rate based on number of items AND space (not or). We decided not to pay them any more money for an additional trip so we had to hire other movers and use a Uhaul ourselves to move the other items.
