GBBait and switch Bait and switch. Arranged a move and they send over a “binding estimate” for electronic signature. After this is done, they call you back to say there was an error and there’s a new estimate. Okay, went along. A week before the move they confirm the pickup date. Morning of the move they send out another binding estimate where the discounts that were offered disappear. They say they can’t send a truck unless you sign. So you’re either ripped off upfront or you are inconvenienced to find a new moving company. Seems the only party bound by estimates is the customer, not Transit. They play a lot of good cop bad cop on the phone trying to cajole you into a new deal. Horrible company.

GBBig time bait and switch After you read this, run! These guys moved me from San Diego to Phoenix area. Started with a “virtual” estimate not to exceed $8,700. Told the sales rep my stuff is big, heavy and I have a lot. He was adamant of getting 4 guys and a 28’ moving truck. The actual mover showed up on moving day and said it wont fit. Needs a second truck and wanted an additional $7,800. Oh, by the way, cash only or postal money order. This is the worst case of bait and switch that I have seen. Also, the movers swooped up my footstool claiming it was theirs. On top of all, they contracted a vehicle transport for $450 to take my 750 Beamer. The guy unloads around the corner, drives it up to the house, and keeps the drivers side towards me. Turns out this knucklehead dropped a hook and spent over $800 at the body shop. These guys are brokers, not actual movers. Better off going with a direct because these guys will tell you anything you want to hear but have no skin in the game.

GBNot a valid company I would reconsider. Run stay as far as you can from this company. From rude management to poor communication. They will say anything to get you hooked in and then when you do they tack on more and more expenses.

INThieves!!! - Bait and Switch Avoid them at all costs. They are just another broker who will say anything to get your money. My experience with Transit moving systems has been horrible and painful. It started with a call from Jerry Reed from the sales team. We discussed at length about the particulars of the move and I repeatedly asked him multiple times about any unforeseen charges or last minute hickups, and he assured me there will be none. 1) Jerry assured me that they are a moving company and not a broker company and that it would be their own team who will be doing the move. False, the move was contracted out via brokers. 2) On pickup, the movers were rude and brash. They did not wear protective layers on their shoes. The movers kept on insisting that I was over volume, when I was clearly not and he wouldn't even listen to me. 3) He kept insisting on charging me for interior stairs, when infact I had it in writing that there would be no charges for interior stairs. 4) During the time of the delivery, some other company called me, again the driver was very rude. They were supposed to deliver on Saturday, the 25th of March, but the driver arrived early and said that he will deliver on Wednesday, the 22nd. He did not give me choice, and said that if I dont take delivery, he will charge me for storage. 5) The driver charged me an additional $550 for shuttle service stating that the 18-wheeler would not arrive at my house and they would need a shuttle. When booking the move, I discussed with Jerry and told him that only garbage trucks can enter the street. Jerry assured me that there will be no additional charges. 6) When I tried to reach Jerry to discuss this, guess what, he was sick the whole week and I couldn't get in touch. 7) If you call them after you book the move, they will send you around in circles between dispatch and sales team, and no one will give you a proper answer.
