USTerrible mistake. Please do not hire They gave me an estimate then kept going up on the estimate up to the day they showed up. First of all, they sold my contract to another company which gave me a date then never called or updated me and just showed up 2 days later. They almost doubled their quote by then because I “ had too many things” even though they had a full list of everything from the get go. They showed up to my house in Georgia 3 weeks after. Asked for an extra $700 to take the stuff from the van to the apartment. They said if I didn’t pay they will take the stuff and leave. When I told them I will report them to the DOT for hijacking my furniture, they dumped it in the garage and left. Several broken pieces and some of my expensive stuff have disappeared including my wife’s and my electric tooth brushes. Please do not use. They have terrible reviews everywhere. I made a huge mistake hiring them.

USWe contracted with US Standard Van… We contracted with US Standard Van Lines to move our 2 bedroom home from New York to Atlanta. Quote was sent out quickly, but when the movers arrived onsite the quote came in at 3 times higher price. The move took 3 weeks to deliver and left us with no furniture to live with. Upon arrival, our couches, desk, TV stand, and mountain bikes were all damaged and unusable. The movers also lost a vacuum, family pictures, and other items. We also found the movers packed our boxes only half full causing us increased costs in packaging and shipment costs. When we reached out to US Standard Van Lines they refused to help. Then they threatened to block our number when we were trying to resolve the damage and overcharges. Then they blocked our number. The moving insurance offered us $90 on over $8,000 in documented damage. This service represents the worst of the industry and is backed by scam insurance. Avoid at all cost.

USUS Standard Van Lines-A Complete Fraudulent Enterprise I booked my move with US Standard Van Lines by phone in July 2021. They stated they were a full-service moving company but after paying a $1,720 deposit I learned they were a broker and their terms and conditions basically stated they weren’t responsible for anything that went wrong with whoever the moving company was going to be. They hired OGM Moving Services based out of Angier, NC. The company has ONE truck. When OGM showed up for my move (a day late) they showed me a Bill of Lading that said my total moving cost was $4,705. I showed them the Binding Moving Estimate from US Standard Van Lines that indicated the total cost was $3,705. I called US Standard Van Lines and the salesman who booked the move would not speak to me. I was transferred to reps who had no clue what to say to me because the company is a complete fraud. They said they could not find a mover to take the job and had to offer them $1000 more from the price I was quoted. But I shouldn’t worry and just pay the extra $1000 and within 30 days US Standard Van Lines would reimburse me. I knew this was a total lie. They sounded totally insincere. I asked them why they could not just call the OGM owner now and agree to pay them the extra $1000. They refused to do that. Things got worse as the truck was loaded by OGM and my dresser smashed through a wall at my old residence. I was told they didn’t know how much of my stuff they could take! I was given about 7 feet lengthwise on their huge truck. I knew I was screwed. I called US Standard Van Lines on that issue and again they were useless and acted like I was trying to move more things than quoted when in fact I had downsized my move by many boxes and furniture! Towards the end of OGM loading the truck they tell me it’s going to be another $1,165 for the space on top of the extra $1000! And they can’t load the desk and a lot of other items that were on my original inventory list! In fact, WAY LESS then my original inventory ever made it to the truck and I was being charged $2,165 EXTRA. I kept calling US Standard Van Lines and got bounced around and placed on terminal hold. OGM Movers took 4 days longer than planned to arrive to FL. The one mover told me the driver was HIGH ON MARIJUANA the entire drive down the coast which was delaying things, along with the ‘boss man’ at OGM having them make about 6 additional stops on the way to FL. By the time they arrived, I was a nervous wreck. I was sure my stuff would never make it. When they opened the truck door, every box I had was smashed and upside down. Some boxes were ripped open on top. I had TV boxes that I used for framed pictures which were totally shattered glass. The TV boxes were diagonally laying on the floor, clearly fell off the top of the truck and flung all over the truck. Fortunately, I took all my computers and TVs in my SUV. They would have been completely destroyed. My dishware was totally smashed. I contacted Chase about all the fraud and destruction. They credited my account $1000 – which was taken from US Standard Van Lines. But OGM forced me to pay cash so I have no easy recourse and because I just started a new job I had no time to get a lawyer either. This all happened 7 months ago and I finally have time to write this review. I reported both companies to FMCSA today and sent them photos of the destroyed boxes. FMCSA investigates mover fraud and safety issues. They already have many complaints on each company and these complaints did not exist back in July ’21. Clearly many people have been taken by US Standard Van Lines and OGM who partner together on this consumer fraud. The complaints for both companies include deception and holding goods hostage. OGM threatened to hold my things in a storage facility if I didn’t pay the extra 58%! I called the police when the criminals arrived at my new residence in FL, but this was totally out of the jurisdiction of the police. They reviewed the paperwork and agreed that I was being defrauded by both companies. I hope everyone writes about their experience since neither of these companies should be operating. Also, ‘US Standard Van Lines’ is a cover. The real company operates out of Miami and is called US Standard Moving and Storage and has a ‘F’ rating with the BBB. Several times when I attempted to call the mobile phone # the salesman at US Standard Van Lines gave me I got a voice message from US Standard Moving and Storage. That company already had destroyed its reputation and was trying to pose under the US Standard Van Lines name. THEY ARE THE SAME CRIMINAL COMPANY. Their management was too inept to change their answering system to use the new company name. Stay away from both of these companies. You will be defrauded out of a lot of money, your things will be destroyed, and it will be the most or one of the most stressful experiences of your life.

USWorst experience ever Worst experience ever, they had me on schedule, but never showed up, they said they were sorry, we re-schedule but again, they never showed up, so I cancel the "service" and they said I was getting my money back in 7 to 10 days, 6 week already, I haven't get my money, they don't answer my calls, when they do, they transfer my call to another department but no one answer the call, I left at least 10 voice mails, no one returns my phone call, this lady Donna Rizzo right after they got the deposit, she never answer the phone again, WORST SEVICE EVER, DONT WASTE YOU TIME. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

USQuote was way short of what I asked for I called and spoke with Anthony and expressed my need for a full semi for moving. He gave me a quote that ended up being for only a little over half that cubic feet. When I tried to get a hold of him after being informed that it would cost thousands more to ship what I needed, he never answered or returned my calls. (three separate calls) US Standard Van Lines is Only a Broker, not the actual shipping company. You pay them for hooking you up with an actual shipping company. Save yourself a ton of money and contact the actual shipping company yourself.
