GBTerrible mistake. Please do not hire They gave me an estimate then kept going up on the estimate up to the day they showed up. First of all, they sold my contract to another company which gave me a date then never called or updated me and just showed up 2 days later. They almost doubled their quote by then because I “ had too many things” even though they had a full list of everything from the get go. They showed up to my house in Georgia 3 weeks after. Asked for an extra $700 to take the stuff from the van to the apartment. They said if I didn’t pay they will take the stuff and leave. When I told them I will report them to the DOT for hijacking my furniture, they dumped it in the garage and left. Several broken pieces and some of my expensive stuff have disappeared including my wife’s and my electric tooth brushes. Please do not use. They have terrible reviews everywhere. I made a huge mistake hiring them.

GBMy moving experience has been awful. Find another company. My moving experience has been, by far, the worst transaction I’ve ever made in my life. It started off by being late when the salesperson with Standard Van Lines I spoke to told me that everything would definitely be picked up by a certain date so that I could book a flight. Turns out after I complained when they were late, customer service told me they never should have said that as they can’t guarantee pick up dates. So I wasted money on a flight, and the movers came about 8 days later. The next issue was that when the movers with Non Stop Moving finally did come, we came to find out that the salesperson botched my inventory by putting smaller items when the items should have been bigger (for example – I told him I had 20-25 plastic bins. He put those as small boxes, which is more than twice as small). This along with other mistakes caused my inventory cost to go from $3,900 to $6,200. When Non Stop Moving moved my belongings into the new house, as I’m unpacking I found that a bag of custom clothes were stolen, along with all of my watches that were in a watch box (which was taped up inside of one of the plastic bins – meaning someone went through my stuff). When I brought this up to the movers, all they could say was that “it’s not my responsibility” – how is it not your responsibility when you’re literally in possession of my items? When I called Non-Stop Moving about this, whoever I spoke to basically implied I was lying about what was missing and that there’s no way of knowing what was really in there. It’s been hard to get in touch with either company and whenever I finally do get in touch with them, they don’t really provide any help to rectify the situation. This all happened in mid-September. It’s not early November and I have yet to hear a thing from either company or claims. My claim was put in a month and a half ago and I’ve heard nothing. Expensive and sentimental items just gone with no way of getting them back. If I was to move again, I’m one of the laziest people but I would do it all myself rather than going through either of these companies ever again. This experience has wasted so much time and money.

GBQuote was way short of what I asked for I called and spoke with Anthony and expressed my need for a full semi for moving. He gave me a quote that ended up being for only a little over half that cubic feet. When I tried to get a hold of him after being informed that it would cost thousands more to ship what I needed, he never answered or returned my calls. (three separate calls) US Standard Van Lines is Only a Broker, not the actual shipping company. You pay them for hooking you up with an actual shipping company. Save yourself a ton of money and contact the actual shipping company yourself.

GBI signed a contract and gave deposit… I signed a contract and gave deposit money for my move. Had a 2 day window for Thurs and Fri. Was told I would be getting a call between 4:and 6:pm to say when the movers would be coming. I never received a call, am unable to reach anyone by phone. I called the “emergency” #, no one answered and the message was there is no mailbox set up for this number. I had sent a couple emails in the week before my move and not one was answered. Think twice about using this company for your move.

GBIf I could give it a zero I would If I could give it a zero I would. First attempted move was canceled because they said the truck of the mover broke down. Had no one to pick up my daughters goods as she was moving out of town. I put a deposit down on the move 3 months ago and they said they would refund in 7 to 10 days. I have received nothing yet despite several calls and messages. The sales guy at the company James Conway found me a different mover and promised me that my daughters goods would be delivered out of state in 5-7 days. That never happened and she ended up sleeping on a floor and had to go out and buy her duplicate stuff including bedding so she would not have to do this. I spent significant money going out to receive her goods as promised only to find out the day of the supposed pickup the movers were not coming. I had my daughter wait 3 days at my house with her 7 year old daughter and when they finally showed up it was midnight and they charged me 28% more than the binding estimate. The reason the mover gave was we had too much stuff. This was another lie as the Quality Control guy at the broker did my inventory check and said I had enough room to double load if I wanted. Fortunately I said no. They have a few good people in customer service I did speak to Mia and Sandra who tried to help me. Otherwise they are not to be trusted. My daughters things eventually showed up and they never disclosed up front that her stuff was going in storage. I did not authorize storage. Stay away from this company..... I plan to escalate my complaint because I still do not have my deposit back on the failed move and they overcharged me. Management shows no interest in wanting to resolve issues. Happy to hear anyone else who has a story to share and maybe we want to band together vs this type of company. By the way mover was non responsive to calls as well. They are Inch Perfect Logistics out of New Jersey... w
