GBYou will lose you data if you buy WD products! Do yourself a favor and never buy anything from this company. WD's programming error left their storage drives vulnerable to hacking and they only allowed requests for data recovery for one month! And they are offering a rebate so we can buy more of their vulnerable products and lose more data. What a joke! Shame on them for not standing behind their products.

GBPathetic Ordered an external drive. Money taken immediately. Got an email a week later stating a refund had been issued as the item was out of stock. The drive is still showing available to buy on website. Went on online chat to ask why. Told that the system takes time to update !! Very poor for a company selling computer components to have a poor, not fit for purpose computer system. I won't be buying anything from WD again.

AUI bought 2x new 10TB NAS HDD I bought 2x new 10TB NAS HDD. Tried installing in a Synology NAS enclosure. Something went wrong - was it Synology or WD or User fault?? Sent back under warranty to WD in Australia with crossed fingers. Just received 2x NEW HDD replacements. Friggin' amazing. Blown away by how fast and replacement policy. This is how HiTech companies should treat their customers :) Ill buy more in future knowing even though I'm not a fully qualified techno, I can get backup from these guys.

GBUseless customer service I've been trying to get a replacement for my $400 Sandisk Extreme Pro drive that failed after only 5 months of use. It's been weeks and they've been useless. I keep telling the agents on chat how urgent it it is for my business and instead of sending me a replacement they keep pushing canned answers like "don't worry we will take care of you" and other BS. I am NEVER buying another Western Digital product, Sandisk or any other brand of theirs. They claim to cater to professionals but they're barely setup to handle amateurs.

GBJust purchased WD Passport Ultra and… Just purchased WD Passport Ultra and discovered there is no UK telephone support. The only number provided is a premium rate 00800 number. If I try to use live chat, after going through various clicks, confirmation of model, personal details, typing out the query etc etc etc.... only to discover their chat support is closed and only operates US hours and is only for US customers! Boxed and returned to Amazon !! Waste of time!
