I agree with previous BAD reviews of… I agree with previous BAD reviews of terrible service on technical support. I have an old WD external hard drive which now seems to be 'dead' - all I wanted to know was if/where/ I could get it looked at to see if possible to retrieve the data. First call - phone went dead after speaking to an agent for 1 minute; 2nd and third calls - after going through the rigmarole of the voicemails and pressing '1''2' etc, the line went dead. On account of this,I shall never buy their products again.

My cloud drive went dead 5days before… My cloud drive went dead 5days before warranty runs out, how convenient. But managed to get a replacement via WDC wesbite and return the faulty drive. The only issue is that I selected Advance Replacement but WDC website does not seems to work in taking credit card payment information. Ended up calling their customer service and took another hour to process it over the phone. All in all, a good support but they need to work on their website, to a workable status.

WD OS5 more like OS0 Been happy using WD mycloud products for years, unfortunately now have a paperweight due to OS5 firmware update, cannot go back, and has been indexing everything for over two weeks now. running at max CPU,RAM. Drive no longer responsive, cannot access anything remotely or locally. WD only answer is to turn off indexing. This stops cloud access! Device is therefore no longer working as advertised. Why everything has to be indexed is beyond me. Files folders worked perfectly well. Someone needs to be fired at WD for this. I will never buy WD again and recommend everyone keeps well clear of these cowboys.

As a business owner I cannot comprehend… As a business owner I cannot comprehend how a backup product can be so unreliable. We've bought one after the other of WD thinking it was our mistakes only to realize these are just garbage products. Don't bother spending money on these, or you'll be writing a review warning others.

I wonder why WD got such a low rating… I wonder why WD got such a low rating on TrustPilot. WD is actually reasonably priced for HDD. I bought one 8 TB rig and it has lasted me for 8 years. Still in good condition but gets heated quite easily.
