Terrible technical support for their WD… Terrible technical support for their WD ReadyView surveillance system. They refuse to fix a confirmed (by level II techs) problem with IOS application / NVR software which renders the system useless. Alert alarms just quit working after a few hours and the entire IOS app must be deleted and reinstalled to get them working again (but for just a short time. Told me to return the unit even though there is no hardware problem !!

Given up with WD Hopeless on another level. As mentioned previously on the many messages WD ship to UK from Holland using UPS. According to my tracking number the item never left Holland, apparently due to BREXIT, well what a convenient excuse. I have had other items from Europe without issues and via different couriers. So again I am left having to resolve this. I won't be using WD again. In my case they just don't deliver despite what their Web site says.

You will lose you data if you buy WD products! Do yourself a favor and never buy anything from this company. WD's programming error left their storage drives vulnerable to hacking and they only allowed requests for data recovery for one month! And they are offering a rebate so we can buy more of their vulnerable products and lose more data. What a joke! Shame on them for not standing behind their products.

I bought a WD Passport maybe 3-4 years… I bought a WD Passport maybe 3-4 years back, just to have it as my backup for my MacBook Pro. Now I get the message that the model I discontinued and that there is no way to update it to my current operative system. What am I supposed to do with a hard drive that only works for 3-4 years? You really suck WD, wish I could give you -5 stars!

Pathetic Ordered an external drive. Money taken immediately. Got an email a week later stating a refund had been issued as the item was out of stock. The drive is still showing available to buy on website. Went on online chat to ask why. Told that the system takes time to update !! Very poor for a company selling computer components to have a poor, not fit for purpose computer system. I won't be buying anything from WD again.
