Zero stars is not an option Zero stars is not an option, So I had to put one star. Took a $900 deposit from my 84 year old Mother to move her from NC to TN. Never sent her a receipt or paperwork. Now they will not answer any phone calls or emails to confirm moving dates. SCAM COMPANY

AWFUL EXPERIENCE AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Had a move scheduled for today and everything possible went wrong. Was initially quoted 2300 dollars for a 1 bedroom apartment move agreed to this several months ago. Quality assurance called the week before the move and recommended adding a little extra space bringing the total to 3000. Agreed to this to be safe. Day of the move twas scheduled for a specific time of 11-3 and the movers did not show. Eventually they called and quoted me 1000 above the the 3000 quoted earlier last week. Had to cancel because the rate became to high and get none of my deposit back. Completely scammed DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

Guys were great Guys were great. Movers worked hard and made sure to keep the house clean for the new owners. Everything except for an ikea bed side table made it unscathed. Ben Mallard my moving coordinator was very honest and matter of fact and I appreciated that. Would recommend anytime

A broker! Hires subs! Scams you for your deposit I'll keep it simple. Do you want to pay Southern $2000-$3000+ dollars ("deposit") to make a single phone call to an aggressive unprofessional sub contractor who will attempt to further scam you? Does that sound like a value? What an absolute joke of a company. They masqueraded as the actual mover at no time clarifying they are just a broker. Unprofessional outsourced call center who are unable to actually provide info. Outright lied about things like stairs (cost) and timing for delivery (days not weeks). Don't use this company at all. Just call an actual mover directly and read reviews. I did neither of those things and am paying for it.

Worse than a scam Worse than a scam. A scam at least wouldn't leave your stuff in an unknown location and completely ghost you. Garbage service. Took advantage of my elderly parents-in-law, arrived several days late to load, demanded $2000 more than the estimate, and their belongings have not arrived at the new location after more than a week. They will not return any attempts to contact. Absolute trash service. I hope they get sued and lose and are forced to dissolve as a company.
