Careless workers and poor service. We don't recommend this company! We had a very stressful situation with Critter Control. It started out fine, and quickly went downhill. The sales person told us we had rats in the attic, and we contracted them to remove them, and seal up all openings on the outside of the house. The workers were careless, and left garbage in the neighbor's yard, which caused problems with them. We also hired them to replace the insulation in the attic. We found the communication between departments at the office and the team of workers to be poor at best. When they did the project of changing the insulation, everything went wrong. First they needed to remove all of our stored items in the attic, but we had been told to leave them on the floor boards up there, it can be worked around it. I was told to leave things in my master closet (the attic entrance is through there). Everything was to be covered in plastic, it was poorly covered up. They moved furniture in the bedroom to bring the vacuum for removal through the window. They did not put the furniture back. They were stamping and slamming and dropping things so furiously in the attic, that it made the light fixture fall out of the ceiling and smash all over the floor. (I'm still finding shards of glass in the carpet and on the tiles). A screw came through the ceiling of the bedroom, and the smoke alarm fell out of the ceiling. They were trying to be fast, that they just kept creating problems. They needed to come back for 3 more visits to fix up everything that they caused, which never should have happened. On the bright side, they did replace the light fixture, and caulked the ceiling where the screw went through it. They also lost the board that covers the attic opening by putting the new insulation over it. That was recovered. They had to replace the floor boards that were not put back, so that we could put our stored items back into the attic. They sent over only 1 guy to move the boards, it was too heavy. They needed to come back again with a team of men. I spent so many days at home, missing work, so that this project could be done. Had they done things right the first time, it would have been half the time they had to be in my home. I spent A LOT of money on this project, and lost money on wages for missing work to be at home. I hired them due to good reviews, well hopefully this will shine a light on how they really are as a company, and that is unsatisfactory!

Can provide better service We were moving to a new home and discovered that the attic was a habitant for a raccoon. I have contacted Critter Control that indeed confirmed potential presence of the animal. We were offered to trap the animal in 5 days and to seal the house. Before signing the contract I was told that capture is not guaranteed, but " we never had a case in which the animal was not captured". Unfortunately, after 5 days the trapping was not successful and the animal was not captured. The house was sealed very well but the raccoon that likely meanwhile escaped the attic now started to come and visit us almost daily in the garden and pool. I have contacted the company again stating that we see the animal every night and may be they should put cage with the trap again. The response was that I will need to pay again for doing that and again trapping is not guaranteed. Moreover, now we were told that they not always capture the animals. While the company has a good name countrywide, it is expensive and at least they should provide service at standard that corresponds to the price that they change. Moreover, if the animal is still on the property and was not captured, they should at least attempt to catch it without additional charge!

Awesome customer service skills - not very informative I wasn't clearly informed on how the whole process works, before I paid for the service. I got a call the morning of for the trap checker to come out. I had no heads-up on this. I've never done this before so I had no idea what to expect. I had to leave work early that day to let him in. I didn't know that there were only 3 "trap checking" days per week, that they do not come out on weekends (unless you pay extra for an emergency visit), that they tell you when they're coming (the morning of) instead of you telling them what time is good for you. I work, just like many people, a regular 9 to 5 job. The trap checker could only come out until 4:30 (I wasn't informed of this). The times were extremely inconvenient. I could not take off early 3 times a week. I had to ask family members to assist with this and unfortunately had to inconvenience them. If I knew of this from the beginning, I probably wouldn't have went with this company or at least did more research on other companies. I did not know that there are typically only 6 day trap checks. I also didn't know that they just stop coming if they don't find anything on the last trap check. I had to call to find out what happened to my guy as he said he was coming back but never showed up. That is when they kindly informed me about this. I had to get insulation put in. They scheduled an appointment with me a few weeks in advance, which was great but there was no courtesy call, the day before, to remind me that they were coming out the next day. I had it on my calendar but I know some people, including myself, would appreciate a call the day before. I had a dead rat on a Friday and, unfortunately, the next "trap checking" day was Monday. The smell was unbearable and there was nothing that could be done unless I paid extra money for an emergency. That was really disappointing. After all of this, I have to say that the customer service was phenomenal! Every time that I had a question, they were there to answer. No matter how many times I called, they were very patient with explaining the process. The customer service agents, the trap-checker, and the insulation crew were all great, professional, and very polite. I would use this company again, but would like them to be a bit more informative on how the process works. I suggest that they think from the mind of a person that has never done this before and what they would like to happen on their first experience. Having rats in your house is a pretty bad experience, so I would recommend making the whole process as easy as possible. Thank you for getting the 6 rats out of my house!

The Best in the Business Since I moved toFlorida full time 9 years ago, I have never met a company with more professionalism than Critter Control. The whole crew was courteous and immaculate, taking everything away with little dust remaining. My late husband who was in business in the north east for many years always always strove for perfection. His motto was "there can only be one best in the business". Happy Homeowner business".
