Really, really do not use these I am still in the process of selling my house with this company after 4 months and am totally frustrated at the lack of response to emails. It is impossible to get through on the phone and they sat on the Management Pack for 1 month without passing it onto the buyers solicitors. This only happened after I got through to their complaints department and she did it, but unfortunately this lady has now left the company and they have removed the phone number from their complaints page. Do not pay up front for their fees!. I negotiated a lower upfront payment but still regret paying this because they have no incentive to work fast. I have pretty much had to liaise through the estate agent with the buyers solicitors to sort things out because otherwise I think it would take a year to complete! UPDATE If you think things cannot get worse then read on. The sale completed on Friday 26th April. It is now Wednesday 1st May and I dont have a completion statement, no reply to emails, unable to get through on phone and more importantly I still dont have the money! I dont even know how much I am getting. I only know completion was successful because the estate agent told me! Nothing whatsoever from the solicitors. I am extremely worried, dont put yourself in this position. This is the Whitehouse Road department by the way. I believe they have other offices too who may be better.

A true caring professional Lucy Guerreiro at Kesgrave office was absolutely outstanding in all respects. All the 'lawyer' jokes ever told, most certainly do not and shall never apply to her. Her dedication and commitment and due care and attention and true personal touch, was humbling and I have no hesitation to recommend to anyone. Lost my house purchase because of Ross Coates Solicitors. Worst company and the most traumatic experience dealing with them. This is one of the worst Solictors you could ever deal with. I was in the process of buying a house, and due to their absolutely useless rude staff- naming Remersh Kaur, her assistants Dara and krishna, I have lost my house purchase. After paying them £200,000 for completion of my house purchase, they refused to transfer my money on to the sellers Solictors account. They have held my money for months and I am constantly fighting to get my money back. They refuse to answer myself calls and emails and Remersh will always send you an auto reply saying she is on holiday. She is always on holiday!! Please please read all the reviews on Ross Coates and staff. They have 3 cases now with the SRA. Keep your money safe and don’t use this solicitors if you want a successful house purchase.
