GBThis company is a complete scam!! This company is a complete scam!!. They’re refusing to refund me for the services I didn’t use. They’re trying to tell me that I’m not allowed my refund of $245 because the “attorney” already “drafted” 2 statement of claims. But I refused to accept either- because they were poorly worded and inaccurate, even after sending in detailed facts about my case. And even though I had a phone consultation back in April I basically had to re explain myself multiple times and they still got the statement of claim wrong so I canceled. They’re also refusing to refund $49 for the subscription I only signed up for to get the price reduced from $350, the case manager “Nicole”- instead emailed me, lied and said I had another phone consultation. However, that was paid for back in February. I didn’t have an active subscription in march, and only paid the $49 in April to reduce that pathetically high service charge another phone consultation wasn’t had or needed. The nerve to think they’re entitled to $245 to copy and paste inaccurate words on a statement of claims form they got off the state’s website is outrageous. $240 for less than 50 words is sick, that was typed and pasted in less than 3 minutes at best. Cape scammers- I’ve initiated a dispute with my bank, avoid this company!!. Half the reviews are fake

GBEasy Process. Happy with Results. Automated systems could be slightly improved. The process with Cape Law was easy. Filled out a request to speak with a lawyer, gave some initial information, and had a 20 minute call. On the call, the lawyer was knowledgeable, had pre-read all the material I sent them and was able to guide me through some possible next steps and what they would need from me. I had claim denied against a major international insurance agency for a sum that could have been brought to small claims court. Cape drew up a demand letter with my case, had it certified delivered, and within two weeks of delivery, the insurance agency had changed their stance and approved my claim. Only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five - the online system is supposed to keep track of each step of the case, but didn't seem to be updated after I had my initial call. I had to get updates by e-mailing the lawyer on my case, but they were good about responding in a timely manner.

GBSCAM- BEWARE SCAM- BEWARE. signed up for the service to get a simple demand letter. It became clear very quickly that this is not a real law firm. The first email indicated it was "administrative serves" and not a law firm. I immediately (within 30 minutes) canceled my subscription and request for a letter, and asked for a refund of both charges, following their process for cancellation. I received another email indicating my cancellation request is "under review". There is nothing to "review". I simply canceled the service. I emailed their contact person with the same request and received a form letter response. I called the 800 number and was on hold until exactly 5pm, when the firm indicated it could not take my call at this time. This company is just a scam for unsuspecting people who need legal services.

AEIncompetence level 1000! I used cape law service to send a demand letter in Florida. They take about 30 days to reply to an email, and takes them about 3 weeks to write a demand letter. The lawyers at this firm do not read your case at all and you have to brief them from scratch. You cannot rely on them to send the letter properly because suddenly your lawyer may disappear from the roster due to unknown reasons. So then your demand letter will take another month to be sent. They do not update you at all during the process, and they do not know how to use a phone to conduct an international call. I do not recommend this service at all they are inconsistent, unreliable, and will waste your time. They did send me a $ refund for my last consultation - however, I can’t really appreciate it much, because they cannot refund my time wasted.

GBI was told 3-5 days for the letter I was told 3-5 days for the letter, and it took 14 days. Unfortunately that is now going to prevent charges to be filed.
