I paid $11,000 and have been bounced … I paid $11,000 and have been bounced around by these people with no resolution. I will be forced to approach the IRS myself now with $11,000 that these people will not rebate any of. I am in the middle of chemotherapy and they just don't help. Please do yourself a favor and don't lose more money and time by wasting it with these people. They changed their name a couple years ago... I DON'T wonder why

Terrible Terrible. They basically stole my money and provided nothing in return. Constant turnover in their firm means that no one knows what is going on with your case. Eventually the subcontracted my tax court work to a company called Victory Tax Law - they were great. I had to pay again, but they handled everything and got me an amazing outcome. Do yourself a favor, stop considering Tax Defense Partners and call Victory Tax Law. You'll pay one time and they deliver great service.

Not impressed. Preparer had to review forms two and sometimes three times to identify all of the tax withheld. Tax withheld was my only control point to begin the process, but when that did not tie out, I found other problems They agreed to do the job for $5,500.00 but charged my credit card for $7,000.00. When I asked them to deduct the $3,000.00 fees paid them in FY 2015, they would not. Now I need to amend the return to rectify that situation. The earliest tax year they prepared required me to send IRS a payment of several hundred dollars. I was surprised to receive a refund of the amount paid with the explanation that the law did not allow them to collect overdue tax after a certain amount of time. I thought TDP should be aware of the time limitation. That should have initiated a refund from TDP to me, as the earliest period was the one that caused extra expense to me for IRS to provide the tax data that I had somehow lost. IRS did not receive one of the returns and TDP did follow up and brought it to my attention. The refund has been received. That was a good thing.

Paid a lot of money just to be set up … Paid a lot of money just to be set up on a payment plan. Could have done this myself for free. I was told as a minimum they would get rid of penalties and interest. They did not come through for me. I do not recommend them to help with tax problems.
