GBVery reliable transcription service -- high quality, quick turnaround, great customer support I've used a handful of transcription services and have nothing bad to say about Averbach. They might be slightly more expensive than some of their competitors, but it's worth it for the quality of the work, quick turnarounds, and very responsive customer support. I should mention that I've only used them one time -- for an interview that came back ready for publication -- but, should the need arise, I will likely use them again.

I've worked on documentary films that have used Averbach Transcription for their interview transcriptions, and they have by far been the best service I've had the pleasure of working with. GBReliable, affordable service I'm pretty happy with Averbach. They get transcripts to me on time and at a decent rate. They also leave out the ums and ahs, getting me just the good stuff. One star off because sometimes I get transcripts back with a lot of "unintelligible" marks, but when I go back to listen to the recording I can make out the words. Am I just smarter than them? I doubt it.
