Luno loves Cat Person Cat Person foods, treats and toys are the absolute best! Luno is extremely picky but Cat Person has come up with a magic array of dry and wet foods that he loves. We had exhausted the pet aisles looking for foods and treats with the right smell, texture and taste and none passed the meal test quite like Cat Person foods. This Cat Lady loves Cat Person food! I am so happy with the quality of Cat Person food. My Bengal cat Raji is in Stage 4 renal failure and getting him to eat is the most important thing to keep him thriving with his condition. He loves Cat Person meals so much and the water content is exactly what the doctor ordered to keep Raji as healthy as possible. I also love the packaging. Unfortunately almost lost one of my cats to this addition to their diet Unfortunately, after two weeks of my cats eating this food, one of them had a severe blockage in his bladder to where he was unable to urinate. His bladder had ballooned three times its normal size so needless to say I came home one day and he was in terrible pain. 4/5 days at the vet and $700 later the blockage was removed his bladder flushed out and he is recovering. I realized adding more protein to their diet would require more fluids so I did purchase a water fountain for them as well as sometimes would fix this new cat food the wet food with water as well. From what the vets told me the new food threw his PH balance off leading to the blockage formation. Now both cats are on a prescription diet from the vets. I would like to see more information from these little companies letting people know this could happen. I’d rather be informed than come home and watch my cat die. Again I was using just the wet foods from this company. I didn’t think much of it when both cats started to eat less and less of this wet food. I just thought they didn’t like the current flavor. It took about three weeks for everything to settle back down after that vet visit.

Great Healthy Food Option As a cat and dog veterinarian, I think about and discuss cat diets A LOT. My recommendations are nearly always for high protein, low carbohydrate canned food twice a day. Cat are obligate carnivores meaning they NEED protein! My cats love the shreds in broth canned food. Clean bowl club every time! ~C. Hoffman, DVM

Poor/Inconsistent Quality Their product quality seems highly inconsistent. Our cats really enjoyed the first delivery and we looked forward to the second. When it arrived (late), our cats wouldn't go near any of the variety we chose for a few days. We found large fish bones in some of the containers. Most worryingly, our otherwise healthy cat vomited at least 15 times after eating the chicken shreds in broth. We really wanted to like Catperson but it's not worth the risk.
