GBMaine Coon Approved in AZ My Maine Coon cats (one- Leroy- is extremely picky, I've given away SO much cat food Leroy won't eat) really like Cat Person shreds and really enjoy the broth that comes with shreds. So far I've only tried the fish flavors on them since Leroy usually rejects chicken or beef (but he loves Hormel Turkey, yes, he's brand sensitive). I really like that it's a life cycle cat food, meaning meets requirements for both kittens and adult cats, so that my Maine Coon kitten, Wolfina, can eat the same food as 5 year old Leroy.

GBLarge fish bones in tuna shreds in broth They have recently raised their pricing, which I'm ok with as long as I can provide quality food for my cats but I keep finding huge fish bones in the tuna shreds in broth. These bones can cause damage to cats internally and can cause a choking hazard. I don't know how they process their food but something also changed with the chicken recipe because my cats won't go near them (thats the only thing I fed them before) I am overall very unhappy with the service and quality of their food now, and sadly will have to look for a different brand. Please work on these issues Cat Person

GBThe worst customer service ever The worst customer service ever. My cat will not eat the food so I've been trying to get information on how to return the order for days. The customer has absolutely no chance of reaching anyone in a timely manner. You are completely at the mercy of someone from Cat Person to text or email at their convenience, and you don't dare send more than one text or email asking for help. If they want to make a go of it, they really should improve customer service.

GBUnfortunately almost lost one of my cats to this addition to their diet Unfortunately, after two weeks of my cats eating this food, one of them had a severe blockage in his bladder to where he was unable to urinate. His bladder had ballooned three times its normal size so needless to say I came home one day and he was in terrible pain. 4/5 days at the vet and $700 later the blockage was removed his bladder flushed out and he is recovering. I realized adding more protein to their diet would require more fluids so I did purchase a water fountain for them as well as sometimes would fix this new cat food the wet food with water as well. From what the vets told me the new food threw his PH balance off leading to the blockage formation. Now both cats are on a prescription diet from the vets. I would like to see more information from these little companies letting people know this could happen. I’d rather be informed than come home and watch my cat die. Again I was using just the wet foods from this company. I didn’t think much of it when both cats started to eat less and less of this wet food. I just thought they didn’t like the current flavor. It took about three weeks for everything to settle back down after that vet visit.

GBThat this will be a recurring order without prior notification. This plan is quite expensive (I'm retired) But I really hoped that this would be a product that my ailing cat would eat. Unfortunately, he rejected this too. He recently passed on. I didn't feel right trying to return what was left of the order and donated it to a cat rescue group. I didn't expect to be automatically charged again!
