GBBe careful of the team you are assigned with Amazon Publishing Labs! My experiences with Amazon Publishing Labs are mixed, and I will explain. I’m 74 years old and I wrote my once in a lifetime book, poured my heart and soul and lifetime experiences into it. I searched different publishers and decided on APL. I was assigned Sophia James, who is a sweet person, but her team lacked talent and she was very poor on quality control or oversight! I sent in suggestions and when it was returned, the same problems existed, plus others. Her editing and art department team were literally terrible! I eventually had to do all my editing AND art cover design! I paid for services that I had to do myself! Eventually, I was assigned George Carter, who stepped up and he and his team did a fantastic job! If I was just reviewing George and his team, they would get 5 stars for sure. However, my 3 star rating is due to the overall experience and the fact that it took THREE MONTHS to get my book published! I poured my heart into the writing and my initial experience caused me stress and angst and took some of the enjoyment away. Had I been assigned George and his team from the start, it would have been a more enjoyable experience!

GBExcellent publishing work with an exceptional team Publishing a book is complicated and filled with steps that are not intuitive. The team helped to take me through the process and get my book successfully published. They helped to copy edit the manuscript, design the cover, assist me with picking a title, and put the book on Amazon, IngramSpark, Barnes and Noble and Kobo. They marketed the book. Because of their skill, I now have had sales around the world. When there were issues with their work, they were responsive and corrected the errors. I recommend them to publish your work.

GBWARNING WARNING: I have an email from Amazon that says these people are NOT affiliated with Amazon though they profess the opposite. And beware of their fake positive reviews. I have all texts, emails and documents to prove that what I say here is true. I received an email from sophia.james stating my refund was processed, yet well after her time line nothing received. The refund was promised because I "busted" them. Their "editor" uses a Quillbot paraphrasing tool, every serious writer's worst nightmare and a career ender for any real editor. Used at random, it makes a mockery of any manuscript. Second, the book cover they kept sending me, was of a paraplegic boy on a rooftop with a New York city skyline, and I told them it was someone else's book cover, which they never denied, though I was told I could send it back and unlimited number of times, apparently at 2 weeks for each return. They refused to do what they said they would, and have still kept my money. If you still want to trust them, avoid these people : Alex Daniels, who lied to me then laughed about it 1-910-888-6771; project manager josh.abraham who is at publishing labs; Jared Bacher and Ethan Gallagher 1-910-888-6771; project manager sophia.jame who is at publishing labs; "Stephanie the editor"

GBBeware of this "Organization" They (Ethan Gallagher) "sold" me an advertised $349 "special" for $700 and then the next guy (Alex Daniels) wanted $1,500 more. I am still not sure this "company" is an Amazon company or just trading off the Amazon name. I asked for a refund and they said it had been "processed" but a week later it's still not in my account. Fool me once, shame on me. Double check your URLs. I then found Kindle Direct Publishing at Amazon and was able to publish my book in both eBook and Paperback--totally free. KDP (your mss has to be print ready, which I love) is MUCH better.
