GBDo not be fooled by the enormous size… Do not be fooled by the enormous size of Wp's user base. There is a recent virus effecting 2.6 million websites and counting. This is from faulty technology on wordpress applications that allows hackers to easily access your site. Wordpress is like going to the casino. One day all of your hard work may disappear. I am going to contact every possible media channel to warn would be WP users, until my dying breath.

DENot so good Their menus and functions are always hidden in places you never expect. It's as if a Tornado hit their structure. Only use if you are a very patient and technical person. Even the fact that there are actually two sites, one wordpress.org and one wordpress.com, each one for a different thing, is immediately confusing. But it is precisely the way their menus are "structured" that is perhaps the most confusing software platform ever released. It's free, but frustration will cost your health. Most blogs on the Internet that try to answer your questions contain information about older versions of the platform that are no longer up to date. Just finding help from their forums gives you a headache (if you do).

DKwordpress is not a blogging platform… wordpress is not a blogging platform (CMS) that you can trust. It closes blogs without prior notice, destroys months of work and does not comply with its own guidelines, censors and spies in people's private drafts, does not respond to complaints, and is both hypocritical and hysterical in its behavior. WordPress does not respect its users, only the all mighty dollar and empty speeches about its own role as a blogger community.

NZWordPress.org is not WordPress.com Seems that a lot of people are complaining about WordPress.com but this section is for WordPress.ORG. The organisation website is free source code and doesn't offer a paid hosting option like the .com counterpart. WordPress is a fantastic, free platform although it has quite a learning curve it seems. Plenty of plugins and templates. It's the CMS champion but unfortunately it's showing some grey hairs now with the new competitors, like Squarespace, providing better functionality. The Gutenberg update is their attempt at fighting back but it doesn't seem to be well received. I'll continue to use this great, free platform until I find something better.
