GBWe've used Hostmantis for many years SLOW websites We've used Hostmantis for many years, we orginally started with a promotion. Slowly they cancelled our promotion packages, now they have started throttling SSD packages down to SLOW the speed of website the entire I/O is very very slow. If you have more than 5 or 10 visitors looking at your website at the same time, it will take forever to load. The service is impolite and can be arrogant at times. No use of SSD if they choke the I/O down and pile on everybody on the same server. I hope they truly improve their service. Update: The point is that the NVME claims SSD are useless if the IOPS are throttled heavily. We barely have 10 to 30 visitors a DAY, and if those visitors complain about the load speeds then its a poor experience. My IT person has doublechecked and found it to be slower than the previous packages.

INGood hosting I found hostmantis on some forum related to hosting when they posted some offer around 2 or 3 years ago. i signed up just because it was super cheap and i didn't have any expectations. But i got a reliable hosting with good speeds. I didn't face any down time or issues. However, as promised they didn't continue the life time promotion offer. In offer i got for $10 USD per year for life, now i it got increased to around $70 USD. Still it is worthy and i am happy to continue.

GBPrice Increase Price Increase. Everyone knows cPanel has raised prices, so hosting companies have to pass it on. But, HostMantis raised prices by almost 100%. As the cPanel price increase is nothing close to 100% and effects mostly reseller accounts, which my hosting isn't, this is just a huge price increase for no reason.

GBThey won't accept your order easily They won't accept orders easily, even though I provided my exact address, phone no. ordered using my wifi etc. they won't accept it. I was even paying 1 year upfront & asked they can call the phone to verify identity, still won't accept. Only reply was > Unfortunately we cannot provide more specific information as to why the decision to not accept the order was made. If staff looks, ticket #458309 for reference. I think they do some user profiling or something, hard to say, but that's what I felt by their replies. After hearing good things about them, it was a disappointment for me.

PKGood servers - but one of the worst support team ever! Their servers are so good, stable. They also have got many locations. But one major reason why i give them 2 stars is their worst customer support. Their response time during working hours is fine, but their attitude to customers is so bad that it feels like they are offering the service for free. They also don't care about customers, a single complain - and they would ask you to look for another company. Lot of accounts are also being suspended, with a lock that doesn't even violate their ToS, or AUP and arguing with them is very useless as they don't even read whole support but reply based on your title of support ticket.
