US100% regret hiring them! I feel like a dumbass even as I write this, but I got contacted by another company summer of 2022 saying that someone was contesting my business name and logo and offered to Trademark it for me to protect it. I decided to find my own company to do the Trademark and found these guys under a different name, (sadly I can't remember that name now-it's been over a year ago). So, I paid their fees to "rush" the copyright and waited for the trademark to come in a few weeks, as they promised. However, no trademark has come yet (it's been well over a year) and every few weeks or so they will call me, always from a different phone number, to say the government wants more money or I need to register in more categories which will cost more money, etc. I felt there was something wrong with what they were saying, so I pulled up the list of fees and when I didn't see the fees they were asking for on the government website, I called the trademark office directly a few months later. The trademark office told me that yes, an application had been filed (which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1) but that everything else they've been telling me is untrue. I am in the categories I need to be in, I don't have any other fees outstanding nor will I. And, the real kicker, they cannot rush a trademark application, so I will just have to wait until the trademark office gets to it, which will be about 1 year. Today I got a call from them saying my application has been abandoned. How is that possible when they were paid in full to complete the trademark over a year ago? Now I will have to call the trademark office again to make sure, but my gut feeling is this is untrue, too. I 100% regret ever hiring them to do the application. Turns out, it's not that hard to do yourself and I wasted a lot of money and frustration dealing with them.

USDavid Reimer below- described the same… David Reimer below- described the same experience I had with TE this week. After asking for another $3,800 to file an opposition, cancellation, to make my case stronger against an "objector" who has the same name as the one I'm working to trademark, and additional applications for my logo and parent company. Also, my business filing is the only one according to them and it was first but apparently, that does not matter. It's confusing and doesn't align with what should logically happen. Attorney (name withheld), whom I cannot find online in association with Trademark Emergent with a simple Google search, offered to waive his $1k fee and set up a payment plan. I did not proceed and now will not proceed after seeing Mr. Reimer's review, which mirror's my experience 100%. But now I'm out of time, trust, and dollars invested so far. I will pursue resolution. I started looking up information on USPTO scams and what they have is helpful but like all organizations, they can't account for each one. I don't know if it's a scam but it feels exactly like that and I have terminated my relationship with this company. I'll probably need to start from square one...

USHere is the scam ... Here is the scam ... 1) They take your money to submit a trademark for multiple classes, but only file for one. 2) They actually do file with the USPTO, but as an individual with your correct name, company and address, they do not list themselves as your attorney (although they claim to be), but they list their email and phone number instead of yours. 3) When the USPTO inevitably files a request for more info, they make a feeble voicemail attempt to contact you about 2 weeks prior to the response deadline, indicating it's urgent and there are going to be challenges. 4) They walk you through everything about your application on the actual USPTO website, then contact a USPTO attorney (not the one listed on your application as the reviewer, BTW), who tag teams with them to try to get you to do several "required" upgrades that "protect your trademark for life" ... specifically Combining sections 8 & 9, Combining Sections 8 & 15, and doing a Logo application ... and they review the USPTO FEES ONLINE TOO! I contacted the actual attorney on the application, then I asked to speak with the owner of TE and since have asked for a full refund. Naturally, no response. More to come. AVOID THEM

USDo not trust this company Do not trust this company! They will take your money and you’ll never get your trademark. It’s been a year and half and I still haven’t received mine. They want more money to provide a correction to their filing errors. Save yourself time, money and stress. This is a fraudulent business!
