GBRefund on unused MLS: no problem After having carefully crafted sales flyers and seller disclosures for my home, I put the house For Sale on Zillow and added a Fizber listing. I wanted to get it on Redfin, so I debated what to do. I decided to purchase an MLS listing through Fizber. Before I had time to finish submitting my MLS listing (in 24 hours), I had two showings and an offer in hand. By 48 hours, I had another showing and another offer. I accepted one of the offers. Lynn Chapman at Fizber refunded the MLS fee, easy peasy. Therefore I had a pending FSBO contract above listing price with no contingencies in 48 hours, even without an MLS listing. I credit a combination of factors including my beautiful property and adequate preparation. But I am also happy to say I had good experiences with Zillow and Fizber.

GBMy house was listed on zillow for 2 … My house was listed on zillow for 2 weeks, then I added fizber and got an offer in 2 days. Being on the MLS is critical - most real estate agents who cannot locate a property on the MLS tell their clients that the house is "no longer available". This is true even if the potential buyer sees a house they like on zillow and sends the link to their agent!

ESUnnecessary middleman for MLS listing Yes, Fiber did get me into the MLS which has been crucial to selling my home since agents won't bring clients unless you're in the MLS and willing to pay at least a buyers agent fee. My gripe is that Fizber just contacted another company in Florida who had that ability even though I'm in NC) and marked up what that company charged. All I needed was the MLS listing and Fizber provided no added value.

GBI went to Fizber so as to get a MLS… I went to Fizber so as to get a MLS listing. The listing agent (USrealty Brokerage Solutions) was outside of my state of Nebraska. The listing agent put a comment in the agent's remark section that said, if USrealty Brokerage Solutions must write commission check 1 month delay required. This comment discouraged local agents from showing my home. When I asked Fizber to help me with a solution I was told that it was out of their control, zero help! In a 9 month time period this house never received an offer and was taken off the market. I can NOT recommend this company

GBWatch Out After uplaoding our FSBO home info to Fizber, the uploaded my information to 8 of their "partner sites". However, those sites said my home was for sale by various realtors in other states. When I contacted Fizber about it, they did not take responsibility or fix the problem, but said it was a one time technical error. Yet, it continued. I finally cancelled my account, and vowed to let other consumers know that they are a shady company.
