TROLLING So many people claiming they are interested in what you're selling. Then hack your account giving your advertisement a horrid title. Same, yet different people asking EXACTLY THE SAME QUESTIONS, lie to you when they go to pick an item up. Then try to blame the seller for not showing up when they were never there to start with.

Neg 100 gumtree has turned extremely bad So gumtree tells me my new account was blocked for no reason This was my response to their email... Oh ok. Funny i had an account (which i deactivated last year) for several years. But gumtree seems to be ok with scammers on there. The only 5 different messages i received for my items were all scammers which i reported and nothing gets done about them. But me being a legit person with legit reasons to sell my items gets punished. That's ok tho. I will just take my items to another place to sell. Thanks for letting me know I am blocked and no longer have the account so saves me the headache of deleting my items and the time i would waste on your app. Have a nice day

Why bother listing an ad if you are just going to delete it randomly? Posted an ad and it got randomly deleted. I provided many photos and a very detailed description.

The Scam Jamm They are wide open to scams! I listed a high value item, then receiving notification my item had sold only to find this idiot stupid enough to not realize his scam went wide open to the public. This fool fought so hard to attain all my details but got him in the end of both his location and use of other platforms. Gumtree is the worst experience ever so do yourself a favour and leave well enough alone.

Wasted hours trying to list an item and… Wasted hours trying to list an item and ad never appeared. Tried over several weeks to no avail. Now I've read other reviews re scammers etc. I'm glad I didn't pursue it further!
