Neg 100 gumtree has turned extremely bad So gumtree tells me my new account was blocked for no reason This was my response to their email... Oh ok. Funny i had an account (which i deactivated last year) for several years. But gumtree seems to be ok with scammers on there. The only 5 different messages i received for my items were all scammers which i reported and nothing gets done about them. But me being a legit person with legit reasons to sell my items gets punished. That's ok tho. I will just take my items to another place to sell. Thanks for letting me know I am blocked and no longer have the account so saves me the headache of deleting my items and the time i would waste on your app. Have a nice day

Whats happening with this site,i live… Whats happening with this site,i live in Vic. preferences adjusted to my area BUT all the ads from interstate ,WHY ? I can not see the local ads,im not interested in interstate ads,because no one wants COD sale,I'm not going to pay upfront,therefore i only buy/sell locally..Fix the filter section gumtree.

Their site accepts you rpayment to… Their site accepts you r payment to advertise ($39 for cars) Then the ad wont load, you cannot contact them! The live chat is always busy 24/7, no phone numbers to ring and they never respond to the emails (5 so far!) Typical dodgy large corporate, Gumtree used to be great until ebay and the slick harvard boys in armani suits took over!

Wasted hours trying to list an item and… Wasted hours trying to list an item and ad never appeared. Tried over several weeks to no avail. Now I've read other reviews re scammers etc. I'm glad I didn't pursue it further!

scammers central every single reply i have had whilst selling a laptop on gumtree ,has been a pathetic scammer ,i report them.....nothing is done EVER!!!!gumtree is as useless as ever,you can't block the scammers,i have never ever sold anything on gumtree ,the only advantage is gumtree attracts the dumbest scammers around,only reason i haven't closed my account is im old an i get bored so playing mind games with scammers pass my idle time,doesn't present much of a challenge though as these so called scammers use the exact same message every single time,i would give gumtree minus stars but i can't if i could it would be 10- stars
