GBGood service, but disappointed with the product finish The pewter touch dimmer I ordered had some of the pewter finish rubbed off, or scratched off in a couple of places. It was not bad enough to reject the item (because the hassle of sending items back and getting them replaced is usually a real bind), but I certainly considered this. Perhaps the company should perform a quality visual inspection before sending items out, to avoid the same thing happening to other customers.

GBA Big Thank You To Paul It was such a surprise and pleasure to deal with 1stopelectrics when I recently bought my Dimmer Switch from them -they were extremely polite and very obliging in sending off the product I ordered. Their replacement Dimmer switch (my electrician couldn't fit the first one) arrived very promptly and I was given full and clear instructions about how to return the first one. GBScratches On Sockets and Dimmers Well, we had a few problems with the Order. Some Sockets and an expensive dimmer switch came with scratches. I have to say they did get it replaced straight away without any problems, but the replaced dimmer switch still had scratches on them. Again they replaced the knobs without problems, but again the replacement had scratches on them. Why couldn't this be checked before they sent it off? They did say that they did, but in the dark? As they didn't see any blemishes. Again I took photos and showed them. For an expensive new four way dimmer you don't expect any marks what so ever on it. I gave two stars because they did in the beginning replaced all marked items and were very forthcoming and return postage got refunded straight away, but all the hassle and still with a dimmer switch that has marks on it, it's just two stars I can give.
