The biggest money saving recommendations was on the IRS dirty dozen abusive tax shelter list. This is a great way to get audited. Now they are giving me the runaround about giving me a refund that they "guarantee" 4/26: Updated to reflect your reply, you recommended both syndicated conservation easements, and captive insurance, which in addition to being a giant red flag also requires you setup multiple entities, get licensed as an insurance company, etc, etc, all that just to get audited at the end.
