GBTerrible experience Terrible experience. They charge a flat fee $595 to connect you with a bookkeeper for 5 hours worth of work. The bookkeepers are paid $30 an hour. Regarding the work, they did not do a good job on my books. I ended up paying several thousand dollars to "clean my books" and they were still a mess at the end. Do yourself a favor and find an independent bookkeeper. The owner is a snake who just cares about making money. I was overcharged and for nothing. I later found an independent bookkeeper on upwork. She did a much better job and was more invested.

GBTosha has been communicating well and… Tosha has been communicating well and letting me know where she is and what she needs. I appreciate this very much as it lets me know the service is being performed as expected.

GBCarolina is amazing Carolina is amazing! She has been so patient with me and has helped me out more than I could have ever imagined! It’s so nice to know if I have an issue, I can reach out to her and she will be quick to respond and help me not only figure out the issue but also show me how to fix it and explain what she is doing. I can’t give her enough accolades!!

GBTotal Scam! Total Scam!! It has been over a year dealing with this "company" (If you want to call it that because really he just subs out the work to other people who don't have working phones half the time) and I still have no resolution. There will be months that go by where I don't hear a word and can't get the "accountant" on the phone to clarify the issue. She misunderstood the issue and then I even paid for more time (wishful thinking she would finally get it done if I paid more) and still nothing. Total joke! I really think it's a scam.

United StatesA Complete Waste of Money – Unqualified and Misleading Our company hired GotAccountants.com to assist with bookkeeping setup and financial management. What we received in return was one of the most unprofessional and incompetent services we have ever encountered. Despite their claims of expertise, it quickly became clear that they had no real understanding of accounting beyond the absolute basics. The company consists of just two individuals, Albert and Cali, who pretend to have a larger team and more experience than they actually do. They assured us they could handle our books, but after reviewing their work, it was evident they were completely out of their depth. We paid $18,323 expecting accurate bookkeeping and advisory support. Instead, they rushed through QuickBooks, making careless errors, misclassifying transactions, and creating inaccurate journal entries. Their method appeared to be mass-clicking through the system rather than actually understanding the financials. Serious Issues We Encountered: Lack of Transparency and Effort – The QuickBooks audit log showed they barely worked on our books yet claimed they spent significant time on them. Major Accounting Errors – They categorized Zoom and utilities as office supplies and completely ignored tax liabilities on the balance sheet. Avoidance and Evasion – When we asked for a Zoom meeting to clarify their work, they became defensive and refused to meet. False Claims of Completion – After just one month, they told us the entire year’s books were finished, even though nothing was correctly classified or reconciled. Deceptive Payment Tactics – Albert pressured us to pay for the full project upfront, insisting they had a team working on it. In reality, there is no team—only him and Cali. Final Verdict – Do Not Trust Them GotAccountants.com is not a legitimate accounting firm. They mislead clients, lack the necessary expertise, and do more harm than good. Their approach is careless, and they will leave your financials in worse shape than before. If you still choose to work with them, DO NOT pay for more than a month upfront. You will quickly see their lack of competence. If your business has any level of complexity, avoid them entirely. They are not capable of handling proper accounting, and hiring them will only result in wasted time, money, and frustration.
