I waited until the last minute ... I needed last minute help with a specialty type of bookkeeping: MTM, Trader Tax Status. Although the bookkeeper did not have experience with this industry, he dug in, figured it, and presented a great set of 2021 books to me! I also liked the way the management checked in with me during the two week process. They really wanted to make sure I was happy. Terrible experience Terrible experience. They charge a flat fee $595 to connect you with a bookkeeper for 5 hours worth of work. The bookkeepers are paid $30 an hour. Regarding the work, they did not do a good job on my books. I ended up paying several thousand dollars to "clean my books" and they were still a mess at the end. Do yourself a favor and find an independent bookkeeper. The owner is a snake who just cares about making money. I was overcharged and for nothing. I later found an independent bookkeeper on upwork. She did a much better job and was more invested.
