GBEasy to use Easy to use; I never thought I needed help to finish my own tax return. This was my first and a long way from my last! E-file is a great "Taxes for Dummies" guide that beginners can use to understand the whole process.

GBI spent hours going down rabbit trails I spent hours going down rabbit trails. Free cost quoted was 27 dollars. First attempt rejected by IRS. E-file said no worry correct at no additional cost. Finally got it accepted. But can not print a copy of return. Checked my credit card and noticed two separate charges, one for 27 and one for 40 dollars. Terrible experience won't be back, they sucker you in with false promises.

GBClassic bait-and-switch Classic bait-and-switch. Tried to do my taxes with 3 W-2s, no deductions/credits/etc. Tried to force a "Deluxe" upgrade before it would let me print or file, with absolutely ZERO warning before the very last step prior to filing, meaning you can either pay them or you've wasted your entire effort. Absolutely no reason/description given of what exactly was requiring the upgrade, just a vague "one of the services you have selected does not qualify for the free option". I will literally do my taxes on paper and send them in the mail before I pay you. Get absolutely bent, e-file.

GBI found it extremely easy to file my… I found it extremely easy to file my taxes with E-File. I do not have any deductions, no dependents, and only one W-2 to enter. I wish, however, that filing my State taxes was also free.

GBTutorial questions were great but Tutorial questions were great but, in the end, the Standard deduction was more. IRS kept rejecting my tax and the explanation as to why was not clear. More helpful hints on the error would have been nice. Otherwise, better than Tax Slayer who is not actually completely free.
