Honest Opinion Honest Opinion - Best Money Ever Spent I prepared my return like I usually do, using an online software. The software calculated that I owed the IRS a very large sum of money. Not good news. After reading some positive Yelp reviews, I decided to book an appointment with Dennis Grogan. Dennis made me feel comfortable about discussing my finances and educated me on how to better prepare my taxes for filing. A-Class service. Honestly. I no longer owe the IRS a dime and I have Dennis to thank for that. Thank you Dennis for making this tax season significantly less painful!

Rene Garcia is the best there is - 5 stars Rene Garcia is the best there is, no question! I would highly recommend that anyone and everyone give R&G Brenner a chance your taxes and you will not be disappointed. After years of trying places like H&R Block, Turbo Tax, and even the mom & pop shop in town, I have not necessarily been happy with my returns. Not having a "go-to" accountant during tax season actually stressed me the hell out in past years...but stress no more because my experience with R&G Brenner has solved that issue. 5 stars across the board, especially the customer service. Feels great to be taken care of and not feel like you're just a number. Thanks again Rene!!!! See you next year!!!

Would not refer anyone The CPA was loudly complaining about doing her job basically the entire 1.5 hours that I waited to see her passed my appointment time mind you, (she seemed overworked), while with her clients! The supporting staff was nice but even they were made uncomfortable, as it was very unprofessional. No one was upfront about the cost of services whatsoever--She didn't bother to explain anything to me. Horrible experience overall and not worth the money I paid. Will probably file with someone else next year.

My tax preparer Felicia is always courteous and helpful. I'm quite happy with the service that I've received through the years. Highly recommended.

Taxes were rejected, poor follow up My husband and I owed taxes for the first time this past year so wanted to have a professional complete our taxes to ensure they were correct. The money owed was confirmed and it was vaguely explained why we owed, we paid for the piece of mind that the taxes were correct. We setup payment and it was accepted by the IRS. We then received notification from R&G that our taxes were rejected, without clear directions on any action we should take or what they would do to correct. I had to follow up a couple of times, googling for contacts. I received a response from a generic ‘do not reply’ email that they were resubmitting. We are still waiting, not sure to expect a confirmation or any further correspondences from R&G. We chose them because of the positive reviews but were disappointed by our experience. It seems they do well overall, just hope they don’t make any mistakes because they already have your money and apparently have no interest in clearly communicating or following up.
