The capper that answered the phone at USTS assured me that a compromise settlement would be attained. I turned down a $700 a month payment plan with the IRS because USTS promised me a better deal. I paid $5,000 up front, 1 1/2 years later, USTS got me on a $700/month payment plan after telling me to liquidate my 401K to pay down my balance, which just added to our tax debt. Avoid these thieves at all costs..don't give in to the fear, these parasites will take your money and run.

They negotiated nothing on my behalf, failed to stay in contact with me, and ignored my demands for an accounting. Basically I have been abandoned. My repeated emailed requests for a fee refund have been met with replies that they are being looked into. Zero follow up on the promise. Their failure to communicate directly with me and abandonment of my case is contrary to clear California Bar standards. The only interest and urgency they displayed was in squeezing me for a $29,000 fee. Though I demanded a refund and accounting of their time and fees 5 months ago, and repeated the demand twice more, to date the reply has been that they will get back to me. Crickets.
