GBHorrible business practices is to say… Horrible business practices is to say the least. When you contact someone, it's like pulling teeth to get competent answers. I always end up having to go in person just for basic information. I've been banking with CUNJ for years, only because as a state worker and like many state workers will tell you, it's just convenient on pay day. It was suggested to try the other credit union and see the comparison on quality customer care/services. Better management is much needed - clearly from other reviews.

GBGood manners never go out of style. It was wonderful to have a CUNJ representative with a pleasant, cool and calming temperament when a stressed out caller (like me) needed documents in a big hurry. My stress and impatience met up with Mr. Cool- Calm- Collected Anthony Cannon who assured me that I didn't need to be anxious because he was there to help. I am thankful that he was there to calm me, to provide the documents I needed (on several occasions), and to do it cheerfully, without attitude.

GBAnna was more than helpful Anna was more than helpful, she went above and beyond to assist me with my matter. Anna, is an asset to CUNJ and pleasant to work with, she knew the products very well.

GBVery convenient Completed the process over the phone and online in minutes. Friendly and knowledgeable Representatives were always available for my many questions. CUNJ was the best part of my car buying experience.

GBMy return to Credits Unions I was using Credit Unions for years while I was working. After I retired I closed out my CU account. Recently and unexpectedly I had to purchase a vehicle from my son. In my research, and on every level the CU's offered better terms/interest rates then any Bank. I re-established myself with CUNJ and got a loan with almost half the interest rate than any conventional Bank. I am sold and will get back to using credit unions.
