Absolute trash Absolute trash. They allow you to apply, make it seem like you are approved in order to get you to fund the account, only to turn around and decline the application. At that point, they have your money in limbo, keep it for multiple weeks, and then return a portion of it and take some as a "processing fee". Complete scam.

Don't waste your time Don't waste your time: you'll be asked a million questions and be encouraged to do so by a positive introductory phone call - but that doesn't mean Grasshopper Bank will proceed to open your account. In my case, despite $75,000+ in idle balances and no debt , they decided they wouldn't. And then they refused to delete the confidential business information I provided. As I said, don't waste your time. Grasshopper? NOHOPER!!!

Amazing Perks + Good Customer Service They have a good customer service. They helped me log into my account when the app was being weird and I called them. What really makes the bank great in no particular order is: They don’t have foreign transaction fees on the debit card; They give you one percent back for using the debit card; If you have a certain amount of money in this bank account, they will give you up to 2.25% interest; they don’t make you jump through hoops like receiving deposits or spending money to collect your interest. This bank is solid in my book.

Was turned away from this bank for no… Was turned away from this bank for no apparent reason and when I went to support for guidance on the matter and how I can liken my chances moving forward, meaning, what else I can provide to prove my business' credibility, I was given blanket answers copy and pasted from their emails, my questions were disregarded and then I was told altogether that I would never be accepted by their bank...All this because I simply came with questions...Terrible customer service.

Bad for complex banking Grasshopper is really good for basic banking needs but the bank is unprepared for medium to large complex business needs. My account was frozen during a critical wire transfer. It took 2 days and 5 hours on the phone with customer support to complete. I will be closing my business account and going to a more established bank.
