Happily surprised! Having read all the negative reviews I want to share my own, so far VERY positive, experience. I was able to get connected to the right person in less than 3 minutes (almost unheard of in these post-Covid times!), she was able to access my long-dormant account and fix all the outdated info, then also helped me with other questions I had. So far, so very good. Fingers crossed.

This bank is really a scam This bank is really a scam. I do wonder why it is still working. The FDIC should close them up. I had pass through all the bank account opening procedures. I managed to get funds into it but now getting an email from them in order to transfer my funds is a big problem now. Cant register the ACH transfer to my other bank accounts. I advise people to stay away from this bank. My cousin who works for the Government is already investigating them. Regards, Dewella Brough

Almost painless Almost painless. My loan officer was very kind, understanding, then quickly worked to determine how she might help me. I had her full attention, until my business was completed. I felt quit comfortable as I was walked thru the process.

I find no benefit to using this bank … I find no benefit to using this bank over a local bank. If you are a small non-profit they want to charge you a monthly fee to use their services, but they do give free accounts to profit earning microbusinesses. Plus their advertisement of setting up the account quickly online in 10 minutes is completely false advertisement. They do require you to speak with them before they will setup your account.

Good for basics, but that's it. I've been banking with SBB for almost a year. The website/app is clunky and they don't do international transfers, which is frustrating. They have no in-network ATMs available, even in the very large city I live in. The customer service is great, and it's an affordable way to get some banking basics, but I think I will need to switch to a bank with more services soon.
